I’m just looking forward to the bachelorette party. Finally, a break from Guggs’ awful writing, Kelly Thompson sure is a sight for sore eyes. That, and the X-Women all in one place.

What happened to the quality of yesteryears?

I was hoping for a quality issue but the first few pages turn out to be retelling old issues. How boring....

It's a modern comics cash grab. These things happen.

But Claremont is writing Kitty, and that's worth me picking it up. Your mileage - and the choice of where to spend your money - may vary.

Kitty got married before and Colossus had a son via one-night stand. They are wiped out of memory.

I’m sure she meant Jean but I’m going to pretend she meant Emma when she referred to having two best friends who are telepaths. If she wasn’t invited, Kitty sucks.

Emma was a villain to X-Men during CC's days.

Two best friends would be Jean and Rachel.

Karma wasn't a telepath during CC days, her main powers were possessing power not telepath.

Dodson disrespected the great Ardian Syaf by not sticking to his design so he gets kicked to the back row.



Did you notice how Kitty is aware of the fact that she loves to brag about her smarts/moral high ground? That's (one of) the key difference. She needs a foil (like Magik, Emma or Wisdom) or her attitude needs to be exagerrated to be played for laughs (like Duggan does) or her Jewish guilt needs to be acknowledged (like Bendis does) or she just needs some self-awareness (like here). Guggs does none of those things which is why she's intolerable.



It is Claremont. Guggs/Land (god what a teamup) are doing the bachelor party and Thompson/Cresta are doing the bachelorette party.

The art is......interesting. I can’t stop looking at Pro.X head.....looks like a grape.

Like what I said, during Kitty CC's time, Shan didn't have any telepathic powers.

I don't know which writer gave her telepathic powers because I stop buying X-Men soon after CC left.

Very excited about this. It's been a while since Marvel or DC had a sweet, memorable wedding issue. I've always been fond of those, going all the way back to Cyclops and Jean Grey's wedding. That issue had so many beautiful, iconic moments. I hope this one has just as many.
