Hello, Cliffhanger 2.
Based on the consistency of your posts, I can sense your zeal in presenting this web comic of your team, The Mythologicalz. For the record, it's been enjoyable watching this story unfold, as well as evolve and gradually "mature" in its layout and overall presentation. Speaking of which...what made you decide to [finally] incorporate panels in your pages of artwork (as someone suggested earlier), as opposed to continuing the splash page style as you began with? (I'm Just curious). But, in my opinion, it now has more of a comic book/graphic novel feel to it in using the panels, as actual comic book art is structured. Anyway...keep up the good work.

Thanks Wendell! Glad your enjoying it. About the panels, I chose the single panel format first as I was trying to figure out different ways to tell a story like this without having to make it into an actual comic book. Even though I have a love-hate thing with comics, I just wanted to express myself creatively without having to follow too many set rules. I find single panel storytelling to be more free and at times more accessible to a broader audience.
As the story started to speed up though, I found panels to be more useful in portraying action and larger chunks of information. Even though people tend to associate the single panel with story books for kids, there are some serious Artists like Lynd Ward who have used it for more mature themes. I'm still gonna mix it up though using both as the story fits. Thanks for the feedback.
So...
OLMEC, is he an actual mythological character, like THOR, Hercules, etc are? Or is he a character you created, who's just based in a mythology of your own making?

Well that's the thing. Those other themes are so much more common, I wanted to do something a little more original.
I also find the Olmecs to be a fascinating topic. So I was a little more passionate about it,than I would be if I was focusing on a more familiar theme.
Why spell Mythologicalz with a z? I think the misspelling, which you tend to see in modern day hip hop albums and the like, distracts and detracts from the ancient mythology the book seems to be based on.
So...
When can we expect the next story of the MYTHOLOGICALZ?
I'm hoping you're working on revealing Olmec's origin...or the group's first time coming together.
Keep the art flowing, my friend.
