No I'm talking about Liefeld's team during blue/gold. He took the aimless New Mutants and turned them into a focused paramilitary squad. He failed spectacularly, because the kids developed incredibly strong personalities despite his boot camp. Warpath became a lover, Shatterstar met Rictor, Feral was murderous, Cannonball was too idealistic.

As much as I don’t like the current de-aged Cable, having him and Logan on the same X-Force team could be fun. I say replace Quire with him now. Have never liked Quentin much.

Nah despite the whole paramilitary team thing being cocky. The idea of it was still fresh and prosperable during those times.

Eh, I doubt the team can remain stable with so much blood in their hands for more than one arc. Heck Remender's UXF and Yost's XF were struggling to put their teamup because most of the characters were in each other throats.

A stable X-Force, especially if it leans towards being a kill squad, should be anything but stable IMO.

Remender should have replaced Fantomex with Gambit or Cable or Warpath. Then everything would have been perfect or we could have gotten Domino too

Nightcrawler (when Warren's baser instincts cloud judgement, Kurt would be the heart)
Psylocke (Betsy but in the English body, I always found the bodyswap to be inappropriate)

Warpath ( Leader) - A balance of both his mutant powers and mystical abilities.
Risque ( returned from the grave with a new lease on life. She is shrewd but has a heart of gold. Power wise.. I want her abilities fully fleshed up and maybe made a high end gravity manipulator)
Tempo ( She has always been on the fence but her resurrection has made her more deliberate in thought and deed. )
Shatterstar ( Pan sexual Gladiator. He will be the heart of the team playing int his teleportational powers. While I will put him back with Rictor, we will see his side of the narrative)
Roulette ( revived, reformed mean girl, she will be trying to find her place in this new world while finally getting taken seriously as she is quite powerful with untapped potential)
Triage ( Life force manipulator who is the team medic while learning to be more effective in hand to hand combat. He will be trained by both Shatterstar and Warpath.)
Wind Dancer( Repowered mutant, who has grown up a lot in her time a way and has lots to prove as she adjusts back to her powers)
Spy/tracking/Intel Squad: B side cast of younger characters who will interact with the main time while having a storyline of their own. Mercury, Cipher, Loa , Trance, and Benjamin Deeds
