I dont think Wakanda simply has "no room" for them. Is that what you are saying? Where are you getting that notion? Where is the notion that Wakanda has to be like America in its lack of accountability for past mistakes?

Like I get a lot of yall hate this run and this writer but what is this? This whole run has been a deconstruction of Wakanda and I get that it wasn't need and most here didn't want it but why should we have them continue on that way just because? That reeks of a tantrum mindset, not criticism with intent to improve it....

I think them acknowledging that some of rhe things they did in the past were wrong and offering another way is better than just "owning" it.

There was nothing wrong with Wakandas history until Coates came along an literally inserted every racist stereotype the west had of Africa. Then he took it steps further and made Wakanda an analogue for columbus, abd an allegory for the slave trade... You know the original history of Wakanda? They were an isolated, xenophobic , most advanced nation on earth. They didn't get involved with the World but would blow any would be colonizers away without hesitation. They had flaws unique to Wakanda, none of which needed to be filtered through a western lense, ESPECIALLY a racist one from a so called "Woke" writer who say zero issues portraying that among misogyny and reveling in Black dysfunction without any idea or plan to showcase an improvement but instead doubles down on it

I agree that IDEALLY Wakandans would just give the land back and find their own place to call home. But just like how it’s not feasible for America to give the entirety of its territory to the indigenous peoples they stole it from, we all know Wakanda will never do that. Giving the Originators their own independent planet is a much better deal than many real life displaced peoples have gotten in the wake of genocide or war. Far from what is morally ideal but it’s something and I imagine that future demon babies will be happy their parents took Ramonda’s deal lol.

Why not? The only person who really needs to be on Earth is Tchalla and a support staff. A new planet for the humans is a better deal because there is a new invasion every month. Lol

I agree but we don't need Whyte heroes to help save Wakanda hell we didn't need the black heroes shown..

Cap and T'Challa are friends. Reed and T'Challa are friends. It's pretty idiotic that the two heroes outside of Wakanda he's closest to didn't get the invite. But Piledriver, Misty Knight and Nick Jr are on the front lines.

If Coates had built this up right, it would have made more sense and had more impact to have these heroes show up because T'Challa wanted their help. Instead, it looks like someone sent out the casting call for Black heroes and they had to do a search on Google to find enough.

I’ll never understand the hate some of y’all got for McGregor. He’s not my favorite T’Challa but he laid the foundation for a lot of the mythic as we know it today and he did leave us with a lot of great gems of characterization for Black Panther. Coates should never have been compared to him in the first place because even the worst of Jungle Action is leagues above the entirety of the last five years.

Assuming Wakanda wins this war with the empire and keeps up contact with its territories, it shouldn’t be hard for T’Challa to arrange a settlement program on one of the many planets, moons, or asteroids contained in the 5 galaxies. The Originators don’t seem to have a population any larger than a small nation, so it’s really just a matter of ferrying a few million demons across the stars. That’s the only way the Originators can be paid these “reparations” without Ramonda coming off like she’s just spouting empty platitudes.

Giving them their own territory also makes it much easier for subsequent writers to ignore them altogether. Most of the changes Coates made to the mythos are superficial at best (Constitutional Council, liberated Dora Milaje, the Orisha) and can easily be sidestepped, with an offworld Originators being just one more thing that’ll fade into obscurity.

I don't think the next writer is going to care where the Originators end up. They won't be in the next iteration.

Only giving back the land that was originally theres would be reparations. The humans came from somewhere else, so they are the ones who need to go somewhere else. Anything else is just another reservation with a better view.

Even if you were using the monsters as political commentary... there isn't a good solution here nor is there enough to look at it with any nuance. There are only a few options:

1. Kill them all and give them a plaque lol

2. banish them back

3. send them off world

4. give them a section of Wakanda

5. let them intermingle with Wakanda

6. Sent Wakanda off world. .


1 seems likely from a comic book scenario and going for the Lord of the Rings feel but... a lot worse lol

2. Too would be cruel as **** but hey... Shuri told ayo and aneka to get raped so... Ramonda telling the monsters to get fucked is somewhat on target

3 seems most likely but is just a space reservation

4 just suspends belief and is once again.. just another reservation. but i guess no chains!

5. would be promptly ignored by every writer ever and carries no weight because of it.

6. would be wild but seems just as impossible as 4.

There's another option. Send them to Niganda and let them fight the Midnight Angels and whoever wins, gets to stay.
