Rucka's treatment of Cheetah across his two runs is like night and day. Liam Sharp's design must have really done wonders to inspire him, because going from "fucked Snapper Carr" to "horrific and tragic anti-villain/deutragonist" is quite a glow up.
Though he still continued his weird tendency to pair her up with side characters. Etta is at least better than Snapper or Zoom, but feels like an underwhelming consolation prize for Diana/Barbara not happening.
Flash has been the weakest A-list title since Infinite Frontier kicked off.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki
also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
Lmao, wasn’t sure if any would pick up on what I was referring to. XD
I honestly have a hard time believing any woman would be into Zoom, since I bet even his pillow talk consists of him muttering new ways to take out Flash. Then you toss in a narcissist like Cheetah, and it’s even more of a head-scratcher.
~I just keep swimming through these threads~
Yeah, I read that special. lol
They doubled down on it later with her coming to him with a bottle of wine, and Rucka saying she was in some way connected to a fertility goddess. I was fine with her shacking up with someone if she thought she was going to die tomorrow, but goddamn Rucka did not do her any favors.
Are you kidding? Women would love Zoom the minute they discover roleplay. Just him call you Barry and make your safe words "it was me, Barry" and you'll get the best 37 seconds of your life.
Don't let me write Flash.
I've always wondered what would happen if Diana simply showed Cheetah a cucumber? Is that wrong?
