More info on the suit I believe it's supposed to be layered and underneath what we've already seen is a kind of armor, the outer wear comes off. I actually like this look, it gives an armored feel while still looking flexible.

At some point, I think Miles will adopt the "Scarlet Spider" identity, like how Nightwing and Red Hood got their code names from other characters. It makes Miles easier to adapt simultaneously with Peter, since they can refer to each other by separate names without giving away secret identities. It doesn't sound dumb in-universe or out-of-universe, like "Kid Arachnid" or "Spin." It avoids racial issues like "Spider-Boy" and potentially "Shadow Spider," which also has the implication of always being in Peter's shadow. There's already more red in some of his alternate costumes:
All of the Spider-characters have been incorporating more street-wear over the last decade, which was really popular in the '90s with characters like Ben Reilly, Rogue, and Gambit (among others) adding street clothes to the traditional superhero spandex.
Everything old is new again.
That said, this is a little too street for me, with the exposed ankles and jacket covering his chin. Also don't get how the spiders can wall crawl with sneakers on.
