I'm so happy to hear that about the new editor. I wouldn't be surprised if she's the reason we are getting so many stories with older, forgotten villains lately too.

I wonder if she's the editor who had only Wonder Woman merch in her office when they where interviewing people for the Wonder Woman Comic's Hall of Fame?

I was thinking the same thing. For too long, Wonder Woman has suffered from the Spirit Halloween syndrome where a new creative team comes in, forgets about what came before them, shoves their new ideas front and center, and then bails when the weather changes.

Nah…a Jimmy Olsen story and that Mod tale co-starring Superman? I would’ve been rather salty about that. I’m actually shocked that Cloonrad had to be told to use a WW character.

I'm assuming given the story being told an news feature it's more because there isn't really a journalist/reporter-type character in WW's world that would immediately spring to mind.

That's not to say that they couldn't have used a character that we haven't seen in a while for that role though. For instance, it could've been Vanessa Kapatelis, who hasn't been seen since the Robinson run and that seems like something people would want to forget about.

But overall I think it was a good thing that it was Steve.

That's a fair point. They said they went with Steve because they have plans for him, so it made sense to start with him.

Given he's also known Diana her entire time in Man's World, he probably also is the one who makes the most sense.

I'm glad they went with Steve and that we finally have an editor who encouraged such a decision.

Jimmy wouldn't have been the worst choice though if we had to have a Supes character. But what we got was for the best.

Steve X Diana X Siggy is the only "trinity shipping" I'm interested in at the moment, LOL.

Yeah when they need a reporter they usually just use Lois. So you can blame Phil Jimenez for establishing a connection lol.

I’d love to see Cale and Lane interact with one another.
