Exodus should be a great help, then. Even in their Nu incarnations, these two are hardly pushovers, so the X-Men will need all the assistance they can get. Speaking of mutants, they might (might) also be able to convince Apocalypse to join in.

Oh yeah, and isn't Cable cured of the techno-organic virus now? That wouldn't be good for DS and DD at all.

Nope, not since Immortus pulled that power out of Mjolnir because reasons 45 years ago.

OTOH, the current X-Men team (Cyclops edition) has a mutant on the team, Tempus, who time-stops over huge areas quite trivially, and chooses who is affected. She used this to humiliate a huge Avengers team including the heavy hitters on live TV.

So unless they've got feats against that, they are both toast. Though to be fair, given that Thor is blitz-fast on them, he might well kill 'em both before that goes into effect.

Well Darkseid's shtick has always been great durability over speed, even Pre-Crisis.
And Doomsday probably falls under the *people where Superman conveniently forgets to use his speed properly* category.

Honestly, most of Superman's villains don't have any/much super speed, off the top of my head.

yeah, it's quite literally the biggest problem with superman's rogues gallery.

his big bads can usually go toe to toe with regard to strength and endurance, but with that blasted speed blitz, most are speed bumps.




however, now that I heard it was the nu versions, I will now cackle evilly as the avatar of Cyttorak and the sorceress supreme of limbo doubleteam and manhandle Doomsday.

Outside of the Kryptonians, very few of Superman's baddies have speed to any real degree. And Thor is, specifically, much faster than either DS or DD. As long as it's a version he can hurt (any version of DD, post-crisis or Nu versions of DS), he's blitzing them. And that is before all of the other crap he can pull off. Which is a ton.
