(This was definitely regular size cover but bigger page count. Remember it well)

We're all the Doom Patrol!!!
Opinions come in all shapes and sizes.
But they're still just opinions yo
A single sequence was deemed so controversial that almost all copies were destroyed in 1999...
...only to have said sequence win awards, inspire a sequence in The Incredibles, and eventually the whole book saw print in 2011 with even MORE PAGES!!!
I remember being in college at the time hoping to find a copy but I had to settle for scans. The offending Superbaby's Babysitter story is hilaRious and in no way worthy of pulping an entire printing. Sad it took so long to realize that. I'm more offended by the Bat-Nipple in the lover right hand corner.

About the Bat-Nipple, I have to say that I still don't understand the trouble with male nipples in comics. The Defenders cover is just so weird with all these guys mutilated (the Surfer gets a pass).
Though I can understand that one could be surprised by the full page :
But the worst is not the nipple. So Freudian...

Another opportunity to post one of my all-time favourite covers. From DC's short-lived experiment with quarterly titles in the early 90s. (84 pages, if anyone was curious).

Stony and Raffi, this is all i can see on your posts. I would suggest you find another source for the covers.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Today we (Daxam) are all Darkseid!
Comparison between the original and the TPB version (which I also liked).

Every day is a gift, not a given right.
