Errrr, I will say that a liberal-run “regime” would far less likely involve murder to keep people in line. However, I do think a Demolition Man may have been on to something. Not all dystopias need to involve secret police putting black bags over peoples heads and shipping them off in the night.

I see a liberal bad regime as us being taxed so much that we are all hopelessly dependent on the government for setting prices, providing services, defense, and basically doing everything. All we do is eat, sleep, poop, and make little humans. But we can say whatever we want, as long as its tolerant of everything except the dominant race, religion, etc. We are all babies sucking at a big government boob, all living in cities, all living in apartment buildings and eating Pho or Poke, with big hipster beards.

And black people and women still don't have equality.

Of the remaining third, the vast majority were ill or disabled, taking care of family, in school, retired or looking for work -- which would qualify them for an exemption under the guidelines the government released Thursday.

Just 3 percent were neither working nor looking for work. So the number of people at risk of losing Medicaid due to work requirements, if states are careful, should be small.
