Default Forgotten Villains you want to see revived?

I read the collection of BK Vaughan bat stories the other week. It reprinted a short story of the Skeleton - whose secret identity was someone VERY close to Bruce Wayne and had a master scheme in the works...

The character was soon forgotten in favour of the Hush storyline and he looks a lot like Bat-manga character Lord Death mask. Maybe he deserves another shot....

    WHO else should be revived?

Really the only one worth bringing back. The Mime!

A woman who was an heiress to a fire works fortune of all things she decided to rebel against her father by (Not drinking, not doing drugs) becoming a mime. But people did not like her act. So she of course steals the clappers from church bells, and goes after a rock band. Pretty lame villain but man did I love her. I dont really remember seeing her any where else.

Thanks! The Mime was a great one-hit wonder. Would love a silent issue on her...

Celia Kazantkakis and The Network. Not that she was amazing, but we could do with more villains that hate Bruce Wayne/Wayne Enterprises more than Batman.

    The Crimesmith.

The original version was mostly just a gadget inventor in the Golden Age, while the Post-Crisis version was that plus’s a master-mind... with the implication that Batman and Gordon caught the patsy, while his “assistant” was the real deal.

I think making someone who creates “anti-Bat” gadgets is still a strong idea, but the idea of a many-times removed mastermind is always useful.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

My head Canon has her leading the Court of Owls. She really fits it to a T

Boy, did you ask the $10,000 question!

Batman has about 750 villains...there are probably about between 50 and 100 that I would like to see revived. (Yeah, good luck with that.)

    I'll post more later.

    King Tut.
They really need to lean into the Victor Buono version though, and not mess w. perfection. The King Tut that was used in Batman Confidential (2009 I believe) completely missed the charm of the original TV incarnation.

I'd like to see a anti-Batman teamup of Hugo Strange, Prometheus, and Wrath.
Pulls: Batman, Detective Comics, SiKtC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Titans, Godzilla, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Brave and the Bold, No/One, Kill your Darlings, and Deviant.
My runs: Batman #230-, and Detective #420-

    ^^^thats a great idea.

Has Baby Doll made it to the comics page?
She’s a great mix of sad funny creepy that I think would be interesting in a less censored medium.
