So pumped for the omnibus. I’ve got the singles and (both) paperback collected editions, but you best believe I’m picking up the omni as well.
Always loved the Liberty Legion especially when they fought the Invaders.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
Kid Kommandoes were fun too.

Like a Red Dragon, The Phoenix shall Soar in 2024!
Yep, back when bright costumes were fun and part of the genre.
LOL! Well, Bucky especially, looks like his eyeballs are going to pop out of his head.
They had a page busting image too!
I don't know as much about them, though I could have sworn they had a mini-series or 70th Anniversary one shot.

I love the Invaders, but I have to admit, I only really love the Big 3 (or 5 including Toro & Bucky)
Not me. I don't care much for the kids (unless as part of the Kid Commandos, of course, and I'd love Namora to join them), but I love the BIG 3 fighting alongside great characters such as Union Jack (my favorite), Spitfire, the Blazing Skull, Aarkus, the original Vision, Miss America and others.
Peace
For some reason, I love Spitfire (perhaps because of being Marvel's first female speedster) and the inclusion of both her and Union Jack.

That Alex Ross image is my favourite Invaders image and my ideal of how Namor should look. (Though I wish Torch stood out more against the similar toned background)
In agreement with everything you mentioned, especially about Hammond. Alex Ross did much better with him during MARVELS (1994):
Ross always portrays a very powerful looking, even dangerous (though still heroic) Hammond. No one else can touch his Human Torch. He does it so well, you can even tell right away if he's depicting Jim Hammond as the Torch or Johnny Storm.
