The Astonishing X-Men book was there at 3:14 EST and I quickly
Ordered it and got a e-mail confirmation.
I posted here quickly after, but too late.
Not sure what time it Actually went on sale
Today or how many books they had.
Heck.... at this point the chance I will still
Get the book is no guarantee.
Last week I lost out on the JMS Spider-Man
Because I looked for other things to add and
The book got pulled from my cart.
I learned my lesson.

However, Wolverine, on its day of release yesterday was immediately listed as Out of Stock.

Amazon has it for May 19th. The gap isn't usually that big, so maybe it moved out?

It's the tiniest of things to grumble about at this point, but I'm annoyed that apparently they decided to tie in with "WandaVision" by just reprinting the existing trade of the second "Vision & Scarlet Witch" limited series, leaving a number of Vision/Wanda stories uncollected, including the Bill Mantlo/Mike Mignola inventory story from "Marvel Super-Heroes #9" (which looks very much like it was the start of a planned 1980s miniseries that never happened).

Maybe they'll come up with something better whenever that show finally gets released.

Astonishing XMen standard cover on Cheapgraphicnovels right now. I also picked up Wolverine reprint with Frank Miller cover today on Amazon.

There's too much going on with these releases at this point, so until IST resumes back to the way they were prior to Covid-19, I'm just going to snag the books where I can find them. Luckily I was able to grab Astonishing X-Men Omnibus from CGN a few minutes ago and the Wolverine Omnibus from Amazon for $65 (not bad at all considering the size and content). It's a big risk with Amazon and omnis, but its worth the risk to not have to hunt for the book for triple that price in the future. Plus the last two omnis I got from Amazon were mint, so hopefully the streak continues.

Thank you! I pre-ordered ASM by JMS Vol 2, Astonishing X-men and the Silver Surfer omnibus from Amazon. Here's hoping they actually make it to me in mint condition. I was going to cancel my Astonishing omni on Amazon and order from CGN, but that would cost me more. Can't wait til Diamond and IST are running normally again, I hate buying omnis from anywhere but IST.

Was it the standard cover or the DM variant cover of Astonishing X-men that went up today on IST ?

Agreed. Between the small runs of these re-prints and the global pandemic, most of these books are going to difficult to grab over the next few months.

It would be nice to know what has and has not actually been printed yet.

I missed all the Daredevil, X-Men etc reprints of this year, and now nothing is in stock anymore. Same for JMS Spidey.

Patience, man. IST told me they expect more copies of the JMS Spidey later especially the variants as they didn’t receive any of those yet. I wanted the Garney black spidey variant so I didn’t bite on the couple hundred copies of the standard cover they got. You’ll have another chance at JMS. Just keep checking periodically. I don’t know about daredevil though.

Against my better judgement and partially cause the stimulus check is now pending in my account I went ahead and placed an order at CheapGraphicNovels.com
I'm getting JMS ASM vol.2 reg cover, Swamp Thing by Collins and Astonishing X-Men(reg cover). I decided though to NOT get Robin Bronze Age due to the Didio dust jacket change, that helps offset the price increase on the other three. I'll only get Robin if/when a reprint with the original dust jacket design that matches the others happens. I may sell my Doom Patrol and Joker ones I'm so mad at that dust jacket change and Didio's flippant comment.
