The muscles are just for show. On film they would look more natural.

Would make sense to lighten the costume a bit, to contrast with Batman and Gotham. I hope it looks that bright on film -- it's way better than the prior version, and I liked that version.
Wish his hair wasn't so neat. That's my only complaint right now.

Hair blowing in the wind at those speeds can be annoying. I'd want some mega hold gel as well.
But, but, his hair looks bullet proof too. It's too neat, there's no danger of an "S" curl happening.
The costume's much better. The last MoS suit had an Ice Capades vibe because of all the swirls and squiggles and the belt buckle with no belt irked the hell out of me.
The lighter colors are definitely a step in the right direction. All it needs is trunks and it would be close to perfect.

He's not getting the trunks, and she should NEVER have them again. I'm glad that DC finally did away with them. I'd also make the belt yellow.
While I disagree with you about the trunks, after looking at the costume again, I'm beginning to think they should do at least SOMETHING to bring some more red to the lower part of the costume. I just noticed that it's pretty much a giant wall of blue from his chest down to the boots. Not counting the cape, obviously.
I don't think the trunks are really the answer, but you'd think they could at least throw in a nice red belt or some paneling along the legs, or something.
Yeah, a little more red would be welcome.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
Unfortunately we live in times where history and tradition mean nothing anymore. It's disgraceful in many ways how a growing number of today's comic fans care so little about history or tradition and not just in comics with historical characters like Superman it happen but in all walk of life now a days. The idea that anything new is better or that the old ideas and ways of thinking needs to be updated is ridiculous beyond words to describe.

I wonder how many times Henry tripped on his cape. Man, that sucker is long.
The trench-coat look reminds me of Smallville and I am loving the improved costume.
