This has become my second favorite show on TV period. I loved Diggle's reaction at first seeing Barry, and of course when Felicity's shirt burned off.

I must have missed it too. Seemed like Ollie said he was going to help him capture the villain in one scene and the very next one, the guy is being locked up in prison. Weird.

Well it seemed like the episode only meant to accomplish a few minor things that'll play out later, aside from the fan service of having the heroes duke it out:

    - Giving more legitimacy to Thawne's anti-Flash task force and pushing him and Iris away
    - Outing Arrow to Flash's team
    - Caitlin is looking into Black Canary's death
    - Cisco will probably help out with Captain Boomerang

The villain was just a prop and they probably ran out of time, but it's sloppy storytelling given how dangerous the guy was to get close to.

Betcha the kid shows up right around the time Slade escapes from Lian Yu and that's who Slade goes after to complete his revenge on Ollie. I mean, he's already gone after Thea, Felicity and Laurel, doing that again would just be repetitive.

Course, with the kid and mom in Central City, that'd be a great way to do another mini-crossover. Slade versus Barry, with Barry trying to protect Oliver's kid for him. That could be a pretty awesome episode.

They just said "screw it we all know you're here to see Flash fight the Arrow, we just needed Prism as a plot to bring them together no need to show how he got captured. You already got what you came here for"

Ya know that wouldnt be a bad idea. With Thea doing her own thing and him & Felicity not working out I think he needs the kid tho to get back in touch with normalcy instead of just being a vigilante 24/7

They didn't need to show how they caught him because once you realize the only danger he poses if confronted by just them and nobody nearby, he has no power at all as long as you don't look him in the eyes. He's probably not even any sort of a fighter. You just have Flash distract him and Arrow shoots an arrow at him. Done.

Why would you need to see a scene with the bad dude at a warehouse, Flash runs around, and arrows with ropes entangle him. An unneeded 10 second scene. That's seriously all that was left. No need to beat people over the head with it.

    FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIREESTORM!

I was kind of nervous about how they were going to adapt it; guess I shouldn't have been!

Awesome episode. Yeah, not showing us how they caught the villain was kind of weird, but that's fine; they ran out of time.

That's how it starts. The fever. The rage. The feeling of powerlessness. That turns good men....Cruel - Alfred.

This may be the only thing that I do that matters - Bruce.

Stay down, if I wanted it, you would be dead already - Clark.

I could have sworn I heard someone say Batman, and a couple of others.

Screenshots from Upcoming Promo for Reverse Flash Episode:

You can see both Dr. Wells and Eddie in the pic (Of course, Reverse Flash could just be a future version of either one of them...or past, for Dr. Wells).

Awesome episode. That tag scene got me though. I don't know if it was the music but it was kind of sad, seeing Ronnie shaking like that, you just knew he was struggling to hold it together, ready to lose it at any moment.

Soooo I'm going to guess that this means the Man in the Yellow Suit isn't present day Eddie or Wells

But I guess this qualifies as a Green Lantern reference.
Emotion Control was always one of Rainbow Raider's powers, long before Johns brought in the emotional spectrum with the GL Corps. I did wonder why he didn't use any of his other colors, though- the ones I recall him using in the comics were yellow (cowardice) and green (jealousy) along with red (anger).

Maybe the next time he shows up he'll have developed some other emotions; it may just be that he hasn't twigged on to the full range of his powers yet.

I thought Wells said Batman at one point myself, and had to rewind. He actually said "That man" when referring to the Arrow and his vigilante methods.

Not necessarily; with super speed, he could appear to be in two places at once.
