I don't think the duplicates will have equivalent levels of strength to Diana.

Quality vs. quantity and all that.

I haven't seen the sequence of events that you are talking about, but it sounds like a cop out when you try to reason things that way. Not you specifically. Either the writers didn't really think things through with some of us here poking holes in the logic of these 'duplicates'. Did it state anywhere that the duplicates were weaker versions of the original. And if that was the case, even if duplicate Wondy wasn't quite up to snuff as the original, a punch from her should turn normal people to mush. I mean, if she is supposed to be really strong, not just below Aquaman levels.

I mean, the mirror dupes are only a set up for the next few issues so if you're expecting any answers about them in this one, you're misguided.

Was wondering how long it’d take to get to another power levels argument.

It should. Because i like to undetstand how powers work. And i want stories to be consistent. In 2021. The argument that a character is only as strong as the plot demands is not acceptable to me. I don't expect a normal human being to survive a hit from WW. Or to take somebody like WW with a bullet. All of this is based on what i have heard from the team about WW being invulnerable and all that. So that scene in the comic with the WW image confused me. Like i said, the issue was good outside of that part that got me confused. It shouldn't be too much to ask for writers to be consistent with how they pportray characters and their powers.

Even if she was weaker than AQ that should still be far more than enough force to instantly kill a human.

I'm pretty confident that the mirror dupes are the creation of the Image Maker. They were quite creepy IMO. The art was hit or miss on most pages. It reminded me of Cliff Chang's work in that some panels were really nice while others looked obviously rushed. I'm happy to see Dr. Psycho, Steve, and Deadman back in the cast. This was a 7 out of 10 for me.

Hide your Wonder Woman, hide your Wonder Tots and hide your Wonder Men too because they’re nitpicking everyone up in here.

Image-Maker is a goofy villain from the Kanigher era of the Silver Age. Updating him as a threat for the modern age is still going to require a bit of handwaving. And it's not like superhero power levels are much better at not fluctuating as the plot demands these days than they were in the Silver Age (though boy, do they like to pretend they are).

They are duplicates of Diana made of magical glass or whatever. They're going to be threatening until it's time for them to shatter dramatically. We also don't know if them attacking her directly (at least one on one) is in the cards. They could be threats the harm her reputation or attack her or civilians in swarms.

The point is, we could wait for the whole arc to finish before we start complaining and getting disappointed about some things.
Because it has not yet been established in this particular issue that the images have a fraction of the power or whatever of WW, for now it is just that: an image.
We do not know how it works, we do not know if the power comes from the ability of its creator, we do not know anything only that they are replicas of Diana's image. Just say.

I actually really enjoyed this issue very much. And I have not been able to say that about a WW comic in a very long time.
I particularly liked when Diana is engaging with Etta and DM she's all nice and chummy and light but when she speaks with Psycho...there's darkness and power and contempt in her tone (as there should be).

    Absolutely LOVED the art.

It was a fairly perfect blend of superheroing and civilian life which I feel is a rarity in todays comics.
