who will win? and what's the weakest Warhammer 40k army that can Solo Thanos' Army here?

An entire faction outnumbers thanos army on a ludicrous level, they'd win on bodies alone

about the only one i would say thanos has a chance of beating is the tau.

everyone else wins by sheer numbers and/or quality of fighters.

Like, yeah, the numbers game is just too much here.

If it was like... a normal detachment of Space Marines or what have you put would be closer.

Still not great for Thanos but significantly closer.

honestly though pretty much every 40K faction outnumbers Thanos's army by numerous orders of magnitude and even if you take that away they're better armored and armed with better support in terms of firepower, vehicles, and ships and have basic strategy. Replace Wakanda with a proper Imp Guard regiment at the end battle in Infinity War and would have held the choke point with ease indefinitely and ultimately wiped out Thanos's forces. Of course a standard American military force could have done a better job than what Wakanda's forces did but still.

The Tau may be the smallest faction in WH40K, but theyre not THAT small. I would take what you said further and say that the only faction that Thanos would have even a small chance against(outside of the ones to unknown to get figurines in the main game) would be the Kroot, as in before they joined up with the Tau Empire. And even then, they likely have enough numbers to win it just on that alone; I mean, even if they only have the population of a single 19th century Earth like planet to draw on, that's still going to be a heck of a lot more than Thanos has.

As for the actual Tau military against Thanos, that is laughably one sided. They have more troops and equipment and they have a hilariously hard counter to every unit Thanos fields: Fire Warrior/Chitauri Soldier, Crisis Battlesuit/Chitauri gorilla, hammerhead gunship/Thanos tanks, sun shark, barracuda, piranha tetra/chariot, manta, orca/chitauri whale, etc. etc. Even the outriders would fall to kroot and krootox, and the Sanctuary II is getting its but kicked as soon a as a Tau cruiser or battleship takes notice of it.
