AoXm couldn’t end sooner. Especially if it has no significant ramifications.
what is a reboot
a 3D cgi canadian animated series?
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
What would a soft reboot of 60 years of X-Men continuity even look like?
I really doubt Marvel is ever going to reboot the x-men
That FEELS incredibly prescient.

Not only are we currently dealing with alternate reality timey-wimey shenanigans starring X-Man and Legion, but moving the clock back that far back negates a LOT of death and suffering at the hands of lesser creatives. All the significant X-Men were alive, all the "wallpaper students" weren't created, Gen X was getting started with White Queen, X-Force was consolidating around Domino, and Excalibur featured a Rachel Summers wearing the Dark Phoenix costume. Magneto hadn't conquered Genosha, Bastion hadn't become human, Vulcan and Gambit weren't Sinister things, Shatterstar was still a mystery.
Losers of this setup include White Queen's 21st century sass, Stepford Cuckoos, and nearly everyone LBTQ+.

All I can say is that IMO that HoX/PoX picture looks more interesting than anything that has happened in Dissasmbled an AoXm. Uncanny storyline of picking up the pieces and rebuilding a team is kinda interesting as well.
OMD seemed like more of a soft reboot/major retcon of one aspect of Spidey’s life. They didn’t even really erase most of the events, just that Pete & MJ were dating REALLY long iirc. Plus, a total reboot for the X-Men where every character is someone’s favorite sounds like Marvel frantically shoving knives in a socket.

Every time a new event is announced people tell about a reboot.
Marvel has never done something like this, I don't know why would they do it to the X-men.
Chronology is what makes the team interesting.
Stupid things like the X-Ternals, The Twelve, Draco or Xorneto were just ignored. We don't need a reboot.
