The Wohl/Fich stuff is forgettable but the recent Hawkins/Sejic stuff is great.
I kinda wish theyd have held off and collect the Hawkins run with the current IXth Generation series though as thats a direct sequel.
For those of you who've purchased Image deluxe books, how is the build quality generally?
Are they sewn+thick paper?
Well, this pretty much convinced me to buy it. I remember the Star Slammers graphic novel (those were back in the days when Marvel was doing some seriously cool OGNs), but never read it. Not sure why because it always looked cool and I was a big fan of your Thor (which would obviously come a little later).
Is this an oversized hard cover or regular.

maybe Saga is a bit too graphic for a 13 year old
A good book for a young teenager (girl or boy) would be one of Marvels RUNAWAYS collections. Great writing by SAGAS BKV, but at a "pg13" level. Marvel has been releasing "Complete Collection" tbp's, should be easy to find.
Normally my go-to for kids is The Last Unicorn from IDW. But this girl might be a bit too mature for it especially if she's been into anime and video game stuff. If violence isn't a big deal, Glory from Image comics is a nice one. It's kind of like a manga, but also fantasy/sci-fi action. Heroes are also female. They're not driven by typical "I'm in love with a boy" plot lines. It's more about destiny and friendship and strength. There's a bit of nudity and sex but not much. I personally really loved it. Depends on how mature she is for a 13 yr old I guess. Someone mentioned I Kill Giants. That's a good choice.
Anyone get the Art of He-Man HC? I'm debating whether to get the regular one for $25 or splurge for the Limited Edition version.
It's just a buncha dick drawings and f-bombs guys, quit being prudes. But yeah, I don't think a 13 year old should be reading something like that unless they're super mature I guess. Or she'd just think you're weird as hell for getting it for her lol. Saga is, as great as it is, pretty much adult-only I would think.
