Some new pages from next week's JLA featuring the JSA.

I hope soome female JSAers appear soon. The original line-up doesn't do much for me because some of the most fun characters are Black Canary, Power Girl, Hawkgirl etc.
I'd like to think Golden Age Hawkgirl was a member but I'm not sure if DC has thought that through.
I also don't think they want Black Canary to be a legacy character again. Which might be why Mr. Terrific isn't in there as well.
But if we get a new book set with the team in the modern era, I expect Stargirl will for sure be in it.
The shame is that the JSA had two women as members in the forties while the Avengers and JLA took an awful long time to add a second woman to their ranks at the same time. But the original JSA's women (WW and BC) have continuity problems. Hawkgirl is possible without any stretch of the imagination.
Throwing this observation out there...
Why is Jay calling Barry "son"? If this is 1941, I'd imagine Barry and John would be a few years older than Jay and company. Is the thought of an older jay so stuck in everyone's mind?
Does the JSA have a significant enough appearance to warrant getting JLA #31 just for them? Thanks in advance...
