It was a terrible ine in terms of delivery and tone. It didnt fit in anything before or after it during teh film so I agree it was probably ad-libbed. By being ad-libbed it does show though that while someone may be a good actor that doesnt mean they can be funny or witty.

I just came back from seeing this movie with a few friends. We all really liked it! I may go see it again.
Sure, it was not perfect. I would have loved seeing Lilandra, the Shi'Ar Guard and Hellfire Club. Also did not like the change in Jean's history.
Loved seeing a very powerful Jean and how every X-Man used their powers to a fuller extent.
Saw it, loved it. What a send off for the franchise!
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
Apparently Tye said that Skrull were in the movie at one point.
First they were Shi’ar, then Skrulls, then nameless aliens, and finally D’Bari. What a mess this production was.
Well, so was Jessica Chastain's character. First, she was reported to be Lilandra, then Smith, and the Vuk. It's like Kinberg used the Marvel Wiki D'Bari page and clicked on the only name that sounds like one that would fit an Earth language.
Oh and in case you're wondering, Vuk is a slavic name.
You really should elaborate since you are seemingly in the minority even on this thread.
You'd read a lot of the criticisms about the movie in this thread before you saw it, so do you think any of those complaints are valid?
What are the specific elements you liked about the movie? Where do you think the critics of the movie got it wrong?
