They were always partially true according to the guy who reported the Deadpool 2 spoilers.

Not to be too negative but that trailer was incredibly...cute,,,Selene looks very terrible, and so does "Genosha" I just cant wrap my head around why it looks like the witch who ate Hansel and Gretel would live there.

The leaked trailer is better. This is the exact opposite of coming out strong. It's not a bad trailer, but it needed to Astonsh people. I'm only astonshed that first time director Kinberg pulled this off at all. He has a future....maybe not in X-movies.

In fairness, the acting and civies-men, esp Sophie's, look good....except Blondstique, Halle-hair and the younger class doesn't talk. Seriously! Like the tone and drama as well. This has promise and I wanted the Annie Richards/DoFP tie.

My expectation is lowered though. I can only hope that this represents less than half of the movie, or is misleading, and we get more non-X3 elements. Like, if they merged what I see here with more comic based costumes (not the blue and yellow), cgi and some aliens/hellfiresque baddies, they would have gold.

NYCC is next weekend. Come out stronger! Maybe dress Sophie in red and gold.

When he turned into Archangel... They thought he died in a plane crash after he lost his wings, but was actually abducted by Apocalypse and turned into Archangel. X-Factor 16-24.

Clearly The Shape was making reference to this. I don't think he/she was saying his healing factor could heal him that much.
