Default DC Golden Age Heroes That Haven't Been Revamped?

So, I got to thinking the other day about DC's golden age heroes, and how so few of them HAVEN'T been revamped, retooled, or otherwise been given the "legacy" treatment over the years.

The entire JSA, of course, has legacy characters of various stripes out there. Dr. Mid-Nite has two. Al Pratt has four or five. There have been several Dr. Fates.

So do almost all of the Seven Soldiers of Victory. Arguably, you could say that, for all of the "Vigilante" characters out there, there hasn't really been a genuine legacy to the "concept" of Greg Saunders. And I don't think there's been a legacy version of "Wing," but that might be for the better.

The Freedom Fighters? With the exception of Uncle Sam, who's immortal and continuously active, all of the core members (and even the extended ones) seems to have had at least one legacy version.

Moving over to the rest of the All-Star Squadron, it's hard to think of one that hasn't had a legacy version. Dr. Occult? Dan the Dyna-Mite? Some of the more obscure Quality characters like Wildfire and 711, maybe?

Like I said, I think it's a pretty short list.

    Madame Fatale
    Wildfire
    711
    the Clock
    Wing
    Bozo

    Anyone else?

Bozo was revamped in Starman I believe.

TNT and Dynamite’s rings were used by a person in Morrison’s 7 Soldiers

Wasn't Lady Luck supposed to be revamped for the New 52?

Oh, hey. I do remember that. They showed a sketch, right?

Wasn’t she suppose to join the JUstice League?

This is correct She was on the big two-page cover Jim Lee did focusing on other characters that were supposed to join. Rumor was that DC found out the Eisner estate still owned the bulk of the character so they had to scuttle that, though a radically different version (with Geoff's idea of being a gambler) did appear in the underrated Phantom Stranger book.

Bozo wasn't really revamped in Starman, though he did have a cameo. You might be thinking of Bobo Benetti, who was an original character that felt like a Golden Age revamp. Morrison later created Gonzo the Mechanical Bastard that was originally a Bozo revamp, but Palmiotti and Grey decided to rename him for Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters.

I know who Bobo Benetti is.

But you’re right. I got Bozo’s Starman cameo crossed up with modern Freedom Fighters’ Gonzo.

    Thanks.

No problem! Sorry if that came off as condescending. When you brought it up, I had a brief moment of "Wasn't that the strong guy?"

My first thought was, how could you tell? You'd need some sort of microscope...

    Captain Triumph
My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.

DC very famously does have a modern Raven. As for the other three, trademarks are why those names weren't reused. Wonder Boy is a video game character, Dan Dare is the star of 1950s British comic The Eagle (and that trademark has been maintained to this day), and Doctor Voodoo is the name of a Marvel character.

Did Quality Comics have their own "Red, White and Blue?" Because All-American (D.C.) had a "Red, White and Blue."
