Having their drugs being called that, the old lady handing Matt his ass and implying other homeland is further than China definitely points to K'un-L'un to me. Makes me wonder if the Iron Fist series is gonna continue this plot

Maybe it's where Defenders is going.

Who the hell was Stick talking to?
I really dig the full red costume.
All the vague Eastern stuff has me thinking K'un-L'un.

This is more than the best superhero TV show ever, it ranks among Marvel's best live action projects ever.
Another observation, back in episode two Claire said she had a boyfriend named Mike that kept secrets from her. I wonder if she's referring to Deathlok from AoS.

It's kind of a stretch. Claire Temple is supposed to be one of Luke Cage's former girlfriends.

MCU doesn't always follow the comics 100%. This series got the Owl as a pencil pusher than a crime boss.

Another observation, Foggy made a joke about machines taking over. He won't be laughing next month.

Wrong thread, I guess. Didn't see this is only for the latter half of the season.

I'm a ridiculously hard person to please, and Daredevil is utterly amazing and the best comic book show yet. Perhaps THE BEST Marvel non-comic work yet.

Fantastic style, accurate, great casting, Foggy is great, chemistry is great, action is great, great writing....this is a show clicking on all cylinders.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

100% agree. If this is what Netflix has to offer, I am so ready for all the other shows that we have coming. The quality is AMAZING!

DC Pull - The Green Lantern, Goddess Mode
Indie Pull - The Wrong Earth, High Heaven

Just finished and I can't believe it's over.

I think it has to be the best thing to come out of the MCU, the fights and tone were just beyond anything the films or AOS has ever done. I can't wait to see the next MCU Netflix shows now, they've sold me on everything with Daredevil.

Yeah this is easily better than anything from the MCU (besides CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLIDER which was the best film they've made).

I forgot they were making an Iron Fist show but that's easily the only one I'm looking forward to besides season 2 of this. I just wish his DD costume was a little more faithful, that's the only thing that bothered me.

I also really want this version of Claire to at least get with Matt for a bit. I'm not a shipper but man they have chemistry. Who could not have chemistry with Cox's Matt though? He's so effing charming.

Finished this last night. So good. Easily the best superhero live-action show imo. If this is the type of quality we're going to get for the Netflix shows, I'm even more excited. Nice to see some building blocks placed for Season 2 as well as the Defenders.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the theoretical plan is for Season 2? I know Jessica Jones is coming out late 2015 and then Luke Cage in 2016 with Iron Fist coming out after that, but can we expect to see Daredevil Season 2 out next year as well or will we have to wait for the Defenders series before we see Matt again?

I think season 2 just depends on how many people watch season 1. So everyone let's watch every episode 5 times. I know I will, I've already watched the episode with Stick 5 times. MAN WITHOUT FEAR was the first comic book to ever blow my mind, so seeing Stick in live action is so cool.

    I NEED to see Elektra!!!!

Can a Daredevil fan explain Stick to me though? I knew that he was Daredevil's mentor and has a connection to the Hand (rivals, yes?). But why does he also seem to have Daredevil's enhanced senses?

    Major Episode 12 Spoilers:

    spoilers:
I really didn't like that they killed Urich off. I understand that they wanted to up the threat going into the finale, but I thought Urich was a character they could have used in later seasons. Really enjoyed the actor and the way he brought an older perspective to the narrative, which counter-balanced the younger trio well.

Toward the end of Frank Miller's run on Daredevil Stick explains to Matt that the chemicals that blinded him didn't give him his heighten senses. He tells that all humans have the capacity of having those heighten senses but they deteriorated over time. All the chemicals did was let it loose.
