it's not oversized, but very well build. i don't feel bigger dimensions are needed here, since it's almost all full page panels anyway.
i started with "can't we talk about.." and it's excellent. i'd say it's something between an illustrated novel and a "proper" graphic novel, also the art is not something which could be classified as special or pretty BUT the story is heart wrenching and so very relatable and sincere, it's absolutely recommended. (also, it's a very nicely bound book with thick paper and beautifully printed, close to an art book).
Latest Blacksad i found is definitely the weakest story wise..
With Spawn Origins Vol 1 becoming widely available, I went ahead and ordered it. I read it and though it wasn't especially great, it did hit me nostalgically. I want to continue the story but am curious, when does Spawn fall off the rails? Is there a point in the series that I can feel comfortable jumping off at?
