    Default We3

Just read WE3 (thanks to comixology's Grant Morrison Vertigo Sales), and cried like a baby.
I don't know why. It's not like the animals (or humans for that matter) had much of a character or that there was much of a plot. It was basically 50 pages of mayhem with a few calm moments in between.
Still, something happened when the SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS dog cries and says it's a "Bad Dog", and when they find home and GOD I'M CRYING AGAIN!
It's... It's and absolutely incredible comics and everyone should check it out.

Don't feel bad. Your reaction is entirely normal and means you have a soul.

yeah, this is a pretty spectacular series. I am surprised that there was never an film update on it, its such a unique twist on that story. Quitely and Morison at their finest.

If you like We3, I'd also recommend Beasts of Burden, Laika, and Red Rover Charlie. Laika, in particular, brought tears to my eyes.

Oh, God, Laika is just heartbreaking. Especially because it actually happened.

Yep, We3 and Laika are tearjerkers.

I must look up Beasts of Burden & Red Rover Charlie.

Laika was based on a real dog and the anniversary of the launch that took the dog to orbit and death was only a few days ago.

I actually read it for the first time last night. It's very good, and definitely deserving to be on this list.
