    Name: Zaofan
    Race/Species: Male Human
    Age: 30
    Height/Weight: 6'0, 170 lbs
Appearance: Tan, Shoulder length black hair, Pacific Islander. His forearms are protected by yellow bracers that wrap around his palms. Typically wears a white cape that has a "Z" on the back, which drapes over his shoulders and has a thick scarf-like collar. The cape is a gift from Jinzi Pantaloon, with the Z standing for Zaofan, though occasionally Zaofan refers to it as the logo for the Z-School.

    Power Level: 700,000

Style: (Fighting style) Hokuto Shin Ken, Crane School, Turtle School. Occasionally and jokingly calls these combined disciplines as the Z-School.

    Special:
    - Zaofan translates to "Breakfast" in Cantonese

    History:
As a teenager, Zaofan was a nomad and thief wandering in the outskirts between deserts and jungles, preferring the warm climate and the dangers that came with it to keep him on his toes. No longer content to be aimless, Zaofan sought to hone his skills by observing the Hokuto Shin Ken style, and its Master Ryu Shingen, from atop a neighboring building. While he initially excelled, he found their brutal teachings to be unnecessarily lethal, and realized he only wanted to improve himself much more than gain the ability to inflict harm.

He left the discipline in his late teens and returned to the nomadic lifestyle, but still seeking to attain his best. Instead, in his early twenties and using the skills he mimicked from the Hokuto Shin Ken style, he was accepted into the Neo Crane School, finding appeal in its emphasis on developing and cultivating internal power and balance as overall holistic self-improvement. He studied under Master Yakimesh Toh Magoh, but did not get to know him well. Ironically, as he came to know his fellow students more, he began to leave his nomadic ways behind and became more curious of the social world until he encountered the elites of his school, whom he found to be unnecessarily cold, rigid, and temperamental, especially towards the less experienced -- as it turns out the Neo Crane School was a false copy. Such bullying caused him to leave the Neo Crane School.

On his travels, Zaofan took notice of the Turtle School and Master Eskramoto, with its focus on strategic and tactical approaches to fighting, adopting the approach that self-improvement includes improving interaction with others. Thus, in his late twenties, Zaofan began adopting a more spiritually inclusive view of martial arts.

Because of Zaofan's nomadic nature, he is a student of three disciplines and yet master of none. While he is an excellent fighter, he does not quite excel in any one art as much as he could have had he focused more. A primarily Turtle student or a Crane student of similar levels will know more of their techniques than Zaofan. Nevertheless, this diversity of styles has developed into a unique fighting approach all his own that combines the self and the other, the physical and the mental, balance and variety. This approach has more often than not caught his opponents off guard and out of focus.

Other: Zaofan gained the power of the Optic Blast by combining the teachings of his first two disciplines -- a failed attempt to fully tap into the Tenryū Kokyū Hō and the Kikoho. The Tenryū Kokyū Hō was supposed to allow Zaofan to tap into his full body potential, with the theory that it would produce an extremely powerful Kikoho blast. However, due to inexperience and lack of practice, the energy gathered by the Tenryū Kokyū Hō and the mental focus required by the Kikoho manifested in and nearly overloaded Zaofan's head. With only one available physical outlet for this energy -- the eyes -- Zaofan unleashed a powerful optic blast for the first time; but thanks to preference of the Optic Blast, he has not successfully mastered more traditional hand energy techniques like the Dodonpa, the Kamehameha, and even the actual Kikoho itself.

Additionally, Zaofan's wandered interest extends into one of his main hobbies -- the discovery and cooking of breakfast foods. He is an excellent chef of cuisines around the world; again, master of none, valuing diversity of taste over concentration.

    Zaofan's Techniques and Items Page

    First Tier Techniques:
Limited wushu levitation: ability to leap, glide, and "gallop" in the air at the same speed as his running speed, not unlike a faster version of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon travel. He cannot maintain height for very long (so it is not levitation) and it is not true flight. Uses virtually no ki.

Optic Blast: ability to channel ki into a concentrated force of concussive ruby-colored energy through the eyes. His trademark energy attack, the optic blast is more powerful than traditional eye beams of similar powerlevels, being fast and accurate. Its power can be adjusted, from being as strong as a regular punch to as virtually as potent as a Kamehameha or Dodonpa from an opponent of similar powerlevels, to a single blast as strong as a kikoho. The blast can also be adjusted for a wide area of effect (that wider the area, the more diluted the attack), or maxed out for massive but sparingly used offensive power -- both attacks are called the Mega Optic Blast. However, continued or amplified use of the optic blast in general drains stamina and, after a point of exhaustion, can begin to drain life force as well. The Mega Optic Blast is particularly draining, and can knock himself out of the fight from sheer fatigue.

Rakan Geki: A powerful flurry of concentrated hand thrusts, punches, and parries. Weaker than the Hokuto Hyakuretsu Dan.

Hokuto Nijyuretsu Dan: Twenty rapidfire physical attacks, with the final three attacks being particularly devastating while Zaofan is enveloped in a ki aura. Because of the energy required for both speed and maintenance of strength, Zaofan tends to save this as a finishing move.

Rapid Movement/Zanzoken: bursts of high speed that almost looks like teleportation. Can also be used to create an afterimage copy for a couple seconds.

    Second Tier Techniques
Pressure Kicker: Adapted from the Hokuto Shinken style, with the Hichō Kūzan Pa. Using levitation and ki-thrust, a powerful flying kick laced with crimson energy for increased concussive impact. Because Zaofan's interpretation incorporates flight plus the original move, this technique spends some ki. It's good for closing distances for h2h combat while using economical amounts of ki.

Ruby Taiyoken: Modified from the Crane school. Now that Zaofan's used his optic blasts more often, and as a lesson from facing giant Dark Chou in battle, Zaofan has refined his optic blast. Rather than emitting concussive force, he can shine a far brighter but almost completely non-offensive flash of ruby light to blind his foes. Because it is not an attack but merely the light from his optic energy, it expends almost no ki.

Ruby Ricochet: Self-taught. Zaofan's observation skills are slowly starting to incorporate trigonometry to calculate his observation of objects around himself and the angles found between surfaces of these objects. By firing a thinner, less powerful optic blast, Zaofan can ricochet a blast off most surfaces for an accurate bank shot. Useful when it comes to bypassing enemy defenses or to take advantage of the environment.

Scarlet X: by channeling his concussive ki into his katchin bo staff Bojack, Zaofan can launch two dense, red energy blades in the shape of an X. These blades are made of concentrated concussive ki, capable of cutting through a variety of materials and exploding. This move is usually a finisher and is capable of immense direct damage or devastating area explosions. Requires the bo staff to perform this move.

Before Image: A variation on the Turtle School After Image technique, Zaofan can "launch" an image of himself between him and a target. Anticipating that the target would react to the image, leaving themselves open to attack.

    Third Tier Techniques
Crimson Dynamite Attack: Combining his speed and his optic energies, Zaofan will fire an optic blast but then fly into it so that it envelopes his body, riding the beam and turning him into a flying red comet for devastating ramming damage

Crimson Dynamite Comet: A travel power, Zaofan fires a large optic blast but quickly joins it with a great burst of speed. By combining his flying speed with the speed of the the optic blast, he is enveloped by his energy blast and can essentially five times his own flight speed. The range of the technique is determined by the range of the blast; hence, the Comet is not suitable for long-range travel, but rather for relatively short rocket-bursts before he drops back down to his normal travel speeds. He can also maintain an optic blast to keep "surfing" it for further distances until he is out of ki. This move does not grant increased reflex speed.

Cho Gattai Ken: (Great Fusion Fist) By combining the fire of the Dragon's Breath, the Crane School's energy techniques, the collective foundation of the Turtle School, the speed of the Wolf, and the striking power of the Hokuto Shinken, Zaofan has the power to channel heat and concussive optic energy into a single strike, hitting at five times his hitting power and can penetrate most materials. However, due to the fact that this technique uses life-force thanks to the Crane School in addition to juggling the schools, he can only use this technique sparingly, roughly once per battle at this rate. And, obviously, he must be able to strike his target for it to work.

Scarlet Shield: Using the same type of concussive energy as his optic blasts, Zaofan can coat parts of his body in a forcefield for momentary protection, with the same energy wattage as a standard optic blast. This is useful for delivering blows without shattering his bones or creating a quick defensive field (though it cannot be maintained for more than a few seconds). The shield can be transferred to an ally, but with the same limitations.

Wolf Fang Fist: Merging the teachings of the Hokuto Shinken with the Wolf's Prowl burst of speed, this modified version of the Geki Dan, this technique uses speed and ferocity to deliver 19 rapidfire blows of ki-driven punches, kicks, slashes, and strikes, with the twentieth and final strike consisting of a double-palm strike that hits with devastating impact, enough to knock foes through buildings and mountains, and possibly far out of the battlefield.

    Fourth Tier Techniques
Sheep's Fortitude: Thanks to extensive sessions with Etrina, Zaofan learns to dull his nerve receptors and feel no pain, thereby increasing his durability. The added effect is increased (though not total) protection against paralysis and sensory-dampening methods, as well as greater resistance to certain status effects by burning toxins with ki. The technique lasts for 5 posts, after which Zaofan's body slows down and becomes sluggish as his nerves come back online. Inspired by the Bear's Strength and the Wolf's Prowl.

    Gifted Techniques:
Dragon’s Breathe: This technique imbues ki and flame together, and is spat from ones hands or mouth. The ki-flame combo is far hotter than a normal fire can be. From Samson Balon.

Dragon’s Endurance: Immunity to flames so the Breathe does not burn them, not any other fire. From Samson Balon.

Kiss of the Dragon: The finest strike of ki to the back of a human’s neck (at a very specific point) can paralyze a foe for seconds to minutes. In that time they cannot breathe easily and can even die from blood buildup. If human, at least. From Marron Balon.

Wolf's Prowl: A technique that increases one’s speed by a factor of three for a short time, making one faster and more able to strike those who might be swifter. From Mara.

Woven Path: A technique that grounds opponents. By feeding ki into the surrounding area, Flight can be negated entirely. The better one is with the technique, the further the field can be projected. From Tao’ro.

Bear’s Strength: A technique that draws upon the genius loci of any place (the surrounding energy) to enhance physical strength by 3x (this is the companion piece to the Wolf’s Prowl). From Barlon Bedlam.

    Items:
    - Bojack staff - a nearly indestructible bo staff made of katchin that he stole as a young thief. Typically used when traveling.
    - Thin but well-armored yellow bracers that hook over his middle finger.
    - three capsules: one for food, one for personal items like clothes and incense, and one to hide Bojack
    - weighted Z-Cape: a gift from Jinzi Pantaloon, this weighted cape is heavy enough for weight training Zaofan, but somehow and impossibly light enough to billow in the wind. The cape is marked with a circled-Z over the front left corner over his chest, and a much larger one in the center of the back. Mr. Pantaloon meant for the Z to stand for Zaofan, but he has playfully considered it to stand for "Zaofan School," or the "Z-School," since he never had one true school to study with but rather is a unique hodgepodge of disciplines.
    - Kami's Set of Kitchen Knives -- wrapped in an old leather case, Zaofan found a set of culinary knives of different sizes and functions in the Lookout's kitchen. Kami, not being much for food and not knowing where they originally came from, allowed Zaofan to keep the set. The composition of the knives are unknown, though Zaofan suspects the blades might be made of the same metal as his bo staff.
    - Alien book; unread and recently translated. From the slavers' asteroid.

    Cooking with Chef Zaofan

He certainly comes from an accomplished line of martial chefs.
Zaofan currently in the kitchen (multiply recipe by 30 people)

    Tricera Ramen
    Triceratops
    1 lb salted Triceratops shoulder
    1 tsp salt

    Soup
    6 cups water (1.5L)
    50g ginger root, sliced
    3 cloves garlic, skinned
    1 bunch green onions
    4 Tbsp soy sauce
    2 Tbsp sake
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp sesame oil

    Noodles
9 oz fresh dough for noodles
    8 cups water (2L)
    2 Tbsp baking soda

    Topping
    boiled ptera egg halves
    bean sprouts, blanched briefly
    green onions, cut finely

    Instructions

    1. Rub salt on tricera meat and let it sit for 30 min
    2. In a pot, put water, ginger root, garlic, green onions and salted tricera, and boil at high heat. Skim fat and other floating scums. Then cover, reduce to low heat, and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Let the broth and tricera cool completely in pot. Strain and save tricera. Slice tricera and set aside for a topping.
    3. Prepare the rest of the toppings now as well (boiled ptera eggs, blanched bean sprouts, cut green onions), before making the soup and noodles. Once the noodles are cooked, you will need to add the soup and toppings right away or the noodles will get soft, so you won't have time to prepare the toppings at the end.
    4. Boil the broth and add soy sauce, sake, salt and sesame oil. Let it simmer at very low heat until noodles are ready.
    5. In boiling water in a pot, add baking soda (be careful, it may boil over), then add the fresh angel hair pasta. Cook the pasta for 30 seconds, and strain. Immediately divide noodles into bowls and add soup onto noodles. Top with boiled ptera eggs, bean sprouts, green onions and sliced tricera.

    Paozusaurus Congee
    Ingredients
1 ½ lbs Paozusaurus tripe, cut into serving pieces
    1 cup uncooked rice
17 ounces water (about 500 ml)
17 ounces beef stock (about 500 ml) or 1 piece beef cube (bouillon) diluted in 17 ounces of water
    2 tablespoons giant fish sauce
    1 teaspoon garlic, minced
    ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 cup onion, minced
4 pieces hard boiled ptera eggs
1 cup scallions (green onions), minced
    2 knobs ginger, julienned
    1 tablespoon safflower (kasubha)
1 piece lemon or 4 pieces calamansi
    ¾ cup paozu rinds, crushed
    2 tablespoons cooking oil

    Instructions
    - In a pot, heat the cooking oil then sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger
    - Dash-in some ground black pepper
    - Add the paozu tripe and cook for 2 minutes
    - Pour-in the giant fish sauce and water then simmer until the paozu tripe is tender (you may use a pressure cooker for faster results)
    - Add the uncooked rice and stir
    - Pour-in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
    - Stir occasionally until the rice reaches the desired consistency (about 40 minutes). Add water as needed
    - Put in the hard boiled ptera eggs then stir.
    - Add the safflower for additional color and aroma.
    - Serve hot with minced green onions, crushed paozu rinds, and lemon. Share and Enjoy!

    Giant Radish Porridge
    Ingredients
    1 cup rice
    1/2 cup carrot
    1/2 cup onion
    1/2 cup giant radish
    1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
2 to 3 cups of vegetable soup stock
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions
    - Soak rice for at least 90 minutes. Drain well.
    - In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
    - Saute onions, carrots, and radish for 2-3 minutes.
    - Add the rice and stir fry everything together for another minute.
    - Add the soup stock and bring up to a boil.
    - Immediately reduce everything to simmer and cook at medium-low heat for about 30 minutes.
    - Stir everything and then continue to cook for about 10 more minutes.
    - Add salt and pepper to taste.

    THE TWELVE PHILOSOPHIES OF COOKING

    1. FIGHT FOR FOOD INTEGRITY
Cooks and chefs have been on the front lines for change in standards and what information is provided. It is up to a good cook to communicate that information properly.

    2. FRESH IS ALWAYS BETTER

Traditional and unorthodox often go together very well. Acknowledge fresh ideas, fresh approaches, fresh talent, but also work with what you know. Innovation isn't just about the new, but about the harmony between the new and the known.

    3. GREAT COOKING IS A BUSINESS OF RELATIONSHIPS

Chefs lead the charge towards making connections with the source, learning how their ingredients are raised or grown, and giving credit where credit is due. Recognize relationships - - develop and cultivate them. After all, the farmer determines the quality of the restaurant meal; the truck driver supplies the meal; the shopkeeper sells the meal; the chef translates and curates the meal. The meal is the sum of their efforts.

    4. PROFESSIONALISM = RESPECT
We can hold our heads high because people are learning to respect the cook for his or her skill and the creative spirit that exists in kitchens. And that includes everyone the cook considers a colleague. Recognize the collective skills in the kitchen and consider how they improve the kitchen overall.

    5. DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION ALWAYS WINS
Kitchens have grown to become the most diverse work environments around, whether it be background, level of skill, or even type of skill.

    6. NUTRITION IS IMPORTANT
Whenever possible, aim for the best balance between flavor and healthy. Nurture the soul and the mind as well as the body. Not all healthy foods are good for the soul; not all tasty foods are good for the body. Moderation and discipline are important.

    7. FOOD SAFETY IS A MORAL OBLIGATION
Take responsibility for your actions and for the well being of your staff and diners. You are the ambassador, but also the custodian and caretaker of the restaurant.

    8. CHEFS NEEDS TO BE LEADERS AND NOT DICTATORS
Chefs know that if they are to be successful it is imperative that they build, develop, and retain an effective, cohesive team. This takes leadership, but also requires the wisdom to know when to be the Executive Chef, when to be the Sous Chef, when to be the Waiter, and when to be the Dishwasher; but above all know that each role is vital to the success of the restaurant -- the Executive Chef can not create their finest work without clean plates. Take pride. Be humble.

    9. NOW WE UNDERSTAND FLAVOR
Understand the science, intention, reason, and nuance behind cooking. Learning the how and the why makes all of us better at our craft.

    10. REAL COOKS SHARE AND TEACH

An important part of our job is to develop others, to share what we know, and to take on the role of teacher. Knowledge should be accumulated, but also passed on. Knowledge for self is admirable, but knowledge to be horded stifles growth of everyone around you.

    11. FOOD IS AN INTELLECTUAL PROFESSION, AS WELL AS A TACTILE ONE
Cooking is both a scholarly discipline and a trade. Cooking is not just the preparation of food, but the transfer of past traditions to the present, the knowledge of what can please and nurture diners, the thrill of experimentation, and the culture of sharing abundance with community. Pursuing food as an academic endeavor or as way to feed your family does not require an expensive degree, but above all else it requires an open mind. Anyone can cook well but only the best will pour their heart and soul into the dish -- this is why your humble grandmother from the village will always beat the fancy gourmet chef with her finest dish.

    12. FOOD CAN AND SHOULD BE AN EXPERIENCE
The dining experience involves a connection with all of the human senses; it is one of the few things that can activate all senses simultaneously. To know what you like is to be true to yourself.

She knows Sarada kinda checks out mentally when magic comes up, but she'd have mentioned it in passing if Sarada asked after what she'd learned in her life at any point.

So I'd say yea, she'd be aware Ishtar knows about it, but not specifics.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Checking out seems about right lol. Okay, just wanted to make sure if she'd mentioned it at all.

I updated Praxat's Tongue electrocution with more detail . it's a charge attack like the Special Beam Cannon so it gets more powerful than longer it's charge. the attack starts at 5 % with Wattage at 20 watts , voltage at 100,000 volts and amps at 0.4 milliamps. each charge increases voltage by 5 times and electric current ( amperage ) by 2 times. at 10 % the electric current of this attack is 6.4 milliamps which enough to cause paralyzation in a normal human.

Going to do a write up on Ming Yue, and Blood Magic as they'll be somewhat relevant.

Also Torment, I'll be responding to that PM tonight. I admittedly got distracted as the result of a few IRL changes (Relationship Get), and also I started playing Monster Hunter: World, again ^^"
