I'd rather Avril took up her own cosmic identity. There aren't enough female cosmic power houses, and always replacing Wendall with a lesbian isn't the way to solve it

Spaceknights should return
Just a reminder so that we would get prepare for the upcoming issue 9
Here is the small interview from Al Ewing for what to come in the book back at July.
" We've got plans for issue #9 that should be interesting for people - I spent a lot of time writing it, Juann Cabal took a lot of time designing and building it, and we each contributed an awful lot of esoteric ideas. What it actually is, I won't spoil just yet - but it involved creating an entirely new fantasy world for future adventures. "
I don't know what going to happen, but this description sounds seems that he has a long term plan for the run.
Love the Guardians, Ive read a few of their comics and they were fantastic
I'm going to start getting into Star-Lord/GotG soon. Can't wait. So far, I've only read the 3-issue Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde, and I thought it's pretty good. Star-Lord being a bar singer, singing Disney songs was quite funny.
Its taking too long for each issue to arrive. I need my Rocket fix soon and faster than that.
This current run is a train wreck
I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.
(Marvel/DC fan for 44+ years)
Look like they drop the cover for gotg issue 9. But do you see the headline up there on the title?

I'm guessing Liftoff could have something to do with what we saw at the end of Empyre. That not only teased SWORD, but something else.
I'm not expecting another event, but I am guessing it'll crossover with SWORD in some way, bridging the X-Men and the further Marvel Universe closer.
I'm also guessing it'll tie into the conclusion of King in black.
Guardians has a KIB tie-in, and this 'Lift off' will begin sometime around when KIB ends.
It might also just in general be the consequences of Empyre being realised.
The same countdown has been in the solicitations.
Really enjoying this run. I think it’s a sleeper book that’s going to take off in popularity in it’s later issues. Glad I’m on board from the start.
