Only matters if one is intentionally copying the other. Just because two stories are similar doesn't mean someone is ripping the other one off. Flash and Supergirl both had a story with a black hole
in it for the first episode this season. But neither group of writers realized the other group was also going to use a black hole in the story.

It predates it but much like my fears for New Gods which the New Gods are IMO 1,000 times better characters than the Eternals and Thanos but to the General Audience it will always appear as DC copying when they were 1st historically. Even the destruction of Earth 2 got comments about the residents being snapped.

Yeah... sigh. Although I'm not sure the general audience really cares about similarities as long as the movie is well made and entertaining. Critics and fans, however, will say DC copied marvel...

Despite him appearing to be dead in a scene from a previous season. Any chance Justin Hartley comes back as Ollie? Or has This is Us made him too big(Price tag wise). According to Michale Rosenbaum they are basicaly offering no money. So I assume alot of these people are bascialy doing it for a free trip to Canada and just the experience

Reminds me of when Power Rangers: Super Mega Force's finale was trying to get past cast members back for the episode. At the time the show was filmed in New Zealand. There was a ton of talk on who got invited, disinvited, money, no money...etc etc. Especially, if Rosenbaum is to be believed, the producers waited last minute and rushing to try and get the past cast folks back and the trouble it was.

They are getting ready to film the final episode of Arrow so I can surmise all of Crisis has been filmed by now, or most of it anyway. So whoever was already announced as being in it is all the people that will be in it.
And no mention was made of Justin Hartley so he probably won't be in it. There may be some surprise cameos though, so you never know. After all that was the Green Arrow of Earth-90 that died. A Green Arrow of
another Earth could still be around. Though obviously not the Earth-2 or Earth-X versions.

Other than a few episodes of Lucifer a while back it's not like Tom Welling has been doing all that much lately anyway. The last movie he was in was in 2016. Maybe he is doing this because he needs the work.
Michael Rosenbaum has been a little busier in comparison so maybe he doesn't need the work as much.

Need the work in just wanting to act sure. But Tom Welling is in no need of money and has a networth way higher then Michale Rosenbaums. And I doubt a CW crossover is gonna be a big boost to his career. And according to him and Rosenbaum Welling isnt hurting for offers but hes apparently very picky. If something doesnt interest him he rather work on something smaller with his own production company

The Monitor sees Flash and Arrow dying saving the multi-verse. But he sees diferent outcomes depending on what the heroes do. So he just thinks they need to die, but the future obviously is not fixed. so they can win without dying in some future.

Yes it really annoys me that in both Smallville and Justice League, we heard the name Darkseid mentioned but never saw him because the assumption of most of the movie and television audience will be that he's a ripoff of Thanos when it's the other way around.
