    Question Black Widow comics for kids?

    Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before - I did search "Black Widow for children" on the forum and came up with nothing.

    Does anyone know if there are any BW comics appropriate for a 9y/o girl? Everything I've bought so far has been pretty darkside.

    Any T- or T+ series I should check out?

    From my experience, I don't know if there are any official Black Widow series that would be appropriate for young girls, since almost all of them tend to be very dark and violent.

    The best place to look for Black Widow content for that age bracket would be to check out any of the Avengers books aimed at a younger audience (Marvel Adventures, Marvel Action, etc.) since they tend to include Black Widow in them frequently.

    Black widow had a series of comic stories in the 70s with the inhumans in the second half of the book that are comic code aimed and are more kid friendly.

    Marvel also did some avengers comics aimed at kids with black widow in it.

    The Mark Waid / Chris Samee run was not particularly violent, if I remember correctly
    Although it is pretty dour, as are most Black Widow books

    This, the 616 Black Widow series is dealing with some really heavy stuff right now (much to my enjoyment) so it certainly isn't for kids especially young kids.
