ALL strats will need to be in by Sunday evening (we'll establish a specific universal time of day for that deadline).

Matches will be every TWO weeks this time. It will allow for it to be more relaxed and it will go like this:

1) Send in strats by Sunday.
2) All matches posted Monday.
3) Discussion for a week (with a maximum post number per participant).
4) Poll threads posted a week later and left up for a week.

I'm a little bit perturbed by the fact that not one person has acknowledged the start date for this!

Incidentally, here's a further breakdown of how things will occur, and some basic ground rules:

1) Monday 20th May is the start date. Therefore, all strats will need to be sent to me by Sunday 19th. Anyone who is against me that week, or any given week, can send it to someone else (but that person will have to post the match - so we need a designated person/designated people).
2) All strats (including links and contingencies) should fit into a maximum of two forum posts.
3) All matches will be posted on the same day (Mondays, bi-weekly), without polls, and left up for a week.
4) Posts arguing your team's case, in your match threads, will be limited to 8 (eight) per person. That gives everyone enough to make a good case, but less chance of the whole thing breaking down into a fruitless back and forth argument.
5) A week after the matches have been posted, match threads with polls will be posted, in which you can vote on the matches that were debated over the course of the previous week. Polls will last for just 2 days, so any credits earned can be used on purchases quickly and writing strats against newly acquired items/characters can be done in time.
6) Those new purchases will have to be made on Wednesdays, when a shopping thread will be posted. Again, this is so strats can be written between Thursday and Sunday, allowing for enough time to make that possible.

Same principle as the multiple previous leagues we've had, but with a little more flexibility in terms of time - and a little more urgency in terms of purchases (which, to reiterate, is to make writing strats less stressful).

Oh wow, that's an interesting mechanic for it. It looks like it would definitely prevent people from voting early and leaving without seeing or caring about the debate.
