    For me, it's the shield.

It's made of vibranium. The first time we see it, it's described as "totally shock absorbent." Bullets are fired at it, and they drop to the floor upon contact.

Later, we see Cap throwing the shield around and it ricocheting off everything, instead of absorbing the shock and falling to the ground. Bullets bounce off of it and kill other people in proximity. But then Cap uses it to shield himself from the impact of a 100 foot fall, presumably because it absorbs the shock of the fall. Spider-man eventually calls it out by saying "That totally does not obey the laws of physics" but that seems like a terrible understatement. It contradicts its own laws of physics.

Not a bashing thread, cause I love the MCU, but...

What makes you raise an eyebrow in the MCU?
This is a plausible explanation for why the shield bounces.

Basically, the original question doesn't take into account what happens to the energy after it's absorbed.

Well, if you are going realistic about it:

Tony having an electromagnet implanted in his chest in a cave in Afghanistan and NOT dying of infection.

Steve being frozen for decades and still being alive.

    The Helicarrier.

A bunch of super powered people running around and the government not getting involved in a much, much larger extent than just SHIELD.

That "Avengers Dissembled" ever happened. After we saw what Scarlet Witch might be capable of back in WCA (the same title that dismantled the Vision just a few issues earlier), the NSC would have had US Agent snap her neck.

That there was any dramatic tension to "The Winter Soldier." After the Russian got the cube, should have been Game Over.

Cap's shield is a unreproducable melding of vibranium and adamantium. That's why it bounces.

    Everybody knows that.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

That Dave, Kurt & Luis, weren't' part of the final battle montage, charging in the hideous 1972 Ford Ecoline Ant-Van!(which now contains a quantum-time-tunnel-generator). Seen flying in through a portal; Dukes of Hazzard style, horn blasting La Cucaracha!

Why that didn't happen, is what makes absolutely no sense!
And really puts the whole otherwise believable time-traveling-dimension-breaching franchise, into question, inexplicable, hard or take very seriously, or believe.

Ant-Man and the Wasp - how did he even have time to buy a ticket for the ferry?

Also, the size of Asgard as depicted in Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Endgame is...problematic.

Why are mutants who can lift mountains, fly or shoot lasers scared of puny little humans they could clearly beat up if they attack them?
    1) People are scared of heroes and tend to flee when a super powered battle breaks out, and they're afraid of mutants as a society because some mutants do want to exterminate and replace humans. Also, when a mutant's power manifests as a teenager, they can't control it and tend to cause collateral damage.
    2) Mutanthood has become a cultural identity and many wouldn't want to deny it (also, they can be easily found to be lying)
    3) Even god-like mutants need to sleep, eat, or otherwise let their defenses down at some point, and wily humans could easily exploit this and kill said mutant

GOTG shows when Quill is arrested he has an Translator implanted in his neck so I'm assuming that's normal for space fairing races/people.

One thing that I didn't buy was Stark at one point deciding to make Spider-Man an official Avenger. He's a minor. It's one thing if Spider-Man just shows up to help. But it's another to publically put him into service at his age.

    Hawkeye

Everything about him. SHIELD would not recruit an archer. I'm sure that they have plenty of marksmen. But someone who only carries a bow and gets a special Avengers costume to set him above everyone else is beyond ridiculous. There's a reason why he's a circus performer in the comics. Imagine that you've joined the police department. They assign you a sidearm. "Oh no. I don't need that." Pulls out a slingshot. "I'm deadly accurate with this."

But adventuring with the kid in Iron Man was ok?
