If 5G happens, what will happen to YJ?

what do you think will happen to YJ, if 5G happens?

I mean I would find it really STRANGE to keep YJ as YJ, Conner as SuperBOY if Jonathan gets SuperMAN etc.

Superlad93 suggested it's gonna be like Young Justice the animated series. It's gonna be a time skip and certain members are gonna move on. So we'll have tons of new members etc.

Instead of taking on their mentor's mantles I rather they come up with their own.

IIRC Bendis already had plans to give Conner a new codename before all these 5G rumors started circulating, I'd imagine he'll already have it by the time 5G kicks off

I not one of the readers for this book. But I have always been of the opinion that events really shouldn't affect stories that writers are trying to tell. I think it would be best that nothing truly affected by 5G. Like it was just another book you could buy like Batman Beyond. It still exists and if you want it you read that story but it is not effecting other books.

Yeah, there's no way they'll be replacing the big names permanently. Maybe it'll just be an event, or an imprint set in the next generation like Marvel's old MC2 line. If so, YJ wouldn't be affected at all.

Wallace,Jonathan,Damian....or so in the roles of Flash,Superman,Batman...
Bart,Conner,Tim.....as kind of Impulse/Godspeed,Black Zero,Red Robin...

I ALWAYS thougt that this could be a cool solution, to have in future a kind of 2 JL Teams.

Basically what the illustrious mr. kenway said. I don't think the whole DCU, including Young Justice, will have a timeskip of about 3 to 5 years, and our current Young Justice group will operate as mentors to new freshmen members.

While I have no way of substantiating this theory, I think Lor-Zod, at 14 to 16, will become the New Superboy.

I'm am a BIG FAN of Black Zero, and I think this would make me extremely happy and be the first time in forever that I read about a younger team.

If its a timeskip some characters would stick around while others move on.

You could have Tim and the others move on to new roles/status quos and be part time mentors.

Instead of a second team they could try giving them solos. I reckon they are overdue and a timeskip allows for a lot of intrigue.

Bendis has actually been soft confirming minis for each of the current Young Justice members since the book was announced. Amethyst is getting an ongoing, and Jinny Hex has a confirmed mini in the works.

If the timeskip goes down then my guess is that they'll roll out the minis to flesh out the time between the timeskip.

Also Tim and Steph are confirmed to have plans surrounding them from Bat editorial that's out of Bendis' hands.

Another time skip? How old will that make characters from this gen like Tim and co? The new time line already puts them in their 20's right now. Tim became Robin at age 13 the same year that Damian was born making him 26.


Also young Jon is going to be much younger than most of his JL peers. Luke and the new GL are already well past their teen years.

It's all so confusing.
