Any E.C. fans of the Fantagraphic Books Black and White Series? The black and white art is unreal, and I really love the old color comics. Baffled by some of the story choices. Wally Wood edition has no Sci Fi stories. Half of the Kurtzman book has finished pencils by other artists, still mind blowing. The hard back covers are gorgeous. They look like classic old books.

Yeah, I have the slipcase collecting the first four books (Davis, Kurtzman, Williamson & Wood), but plan on collecting the rest of the series. Really nice little books, with great repro. Personally I like how the books are themed by genre. No doubt we'll see further volumes of Wood's sci-fi stories etc. Also, last week I got the Best of EC Artists Edition, which is just incredible. Possibly the best book I've ever had the pleasure of owning!

I think the people liking it are still part of a vast majority, based on sales and reviews. it's a great series with fun storytelling and great art. One of the few series I bought TPB "knowing" there would be an OHC sooner or later. It has been quite soon actually. Really enjoying these.
