YES! for ANY adult character including superheroes!
NO! Don't wanna see it at all!
YES! But only for adult minor/supporting characters!
YES! But only for adult unknown/one-off characters!
I don't see any situation where showing a Bruce's naughty bits is essential for the story and it just seems to me the only reason to do it is for shock value. It's not porn, where the
whole point of porn is seeing a character's naughty bits. So no.
I think if it was just....incidental.....then it's whatever. Like if there's a scene where Bruce is in the shower after a long night and there's blood and teeth in the drain.....it's a classic image that you see all the time. Usually steam or soap will cover up the naughty parts, but if a book didn't bother and just drew things without the censoring? Alright, sure, who cares? Hell you could even argue that it heightens the sense of pain and vulnerability by laying Bruce bare to the audience (though that might be more literary analysis psycho-babble than you'd want lol )
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
I don't really care. If they want to show a guy or a woman getting out of the shower or something, or getting out of bed, or a post-coital scene now and then, no big deal to me. As long as fanservice doesn't dominate and completely distract, I can take it or leave it.
"They can be a great people Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you. My only son." - Jor-El
Well, I guess it's nice we know the Batpole's size now. Maybe they can add it to a DC trivia or a random facts about the DCU book
I have no desire to see Batman's junk. There are sometimes where nudity is kind of required (like Dr Manhattan feeling the need not to wear clothes) but sometimes it just comes across as trying to be "edgy".
Honestly, we didn't need to see it in Batman: The Damned.
It just came across like Spider-man: Reign where we saw's Peter Parker's elderly penis in attempt to be "hard core".

The true test is...
If you remove it, does it impact the story in any way...
Here's a mock-up of a test image...
In this instance, it appears that nothing is really lost.
Matter of fact, IMO, the dialogue also seems to pace better being spread over two panels.
(Forgive me for not completely matching the art. It would've taken a bit longer and I think what much I did do is serviceable as an example.)

No, I don't want to see anyone's genitals in my super hero comics. What is the point?
Indeed, it's always puzzling for me.
Then again, we do have some B.D. which are pretty violent, but it's usually the fantasy ones (and often in an over the top gory and funny way, I'm thinking Lanfeust here), or the grittier, not the ones that kids/young teenagers will stumble upon. As a kid, Yoko Tsuno, Lagaffe or Natacha were my first B.D., simply because my parents had them, and they are all extremely tame, really. Valerian and Laureline, a little less, but well, it was always high concept anyway, so some relief was needed.
Anytime I get to tell my Watchmen story I am happy,I went to movie theater knowing what Watchmen was but clearly some people a lot people were fooled by the marketing campaign into thinking they were getting the standard action summer movie action flix . So they were couple of parents with small children because violence and a R rating is no big deal apparently. The one of my best theater moments happen "Blue penis" came on the screen which got the same type of gasps that infinity war characters got disappearing. And small procession of people left the theater shortly and I am in the movie theater dying of laughter. Good times
This is pretty close to how I feel. Both DC and Marvel published comics before that had nudity in them and it's rarely been a big deal. This is just a cynical attempt at trying to be "edgy" and "adult" for an audience that wants "mature" themes but won't buy non-superhero comics.
