Watching the World Burn; DAKEN APPRECIATION THREAD

I LOVE that he is showing up in the Iceman comic. He makes for a great antagonist, but I am also entirely ready for an Iceman/Daken romance. Daken is a manipulative SOB, but he's very charming and persuasive and rather attractive. It'd be very interesting to see very pure and innocent Bobby Drake with badboy Daken Akhiro.

I'm sure he'll have appearances in All-New Wolverine and/or Old Man Logan at some point too. Seems inevitable.

I hope this is the beginning of a comeback for one of my absolute favorites

Taylor hasn't outright confirmed, but has strongly hinted on his Twitter and other media that Daken will be appearing soon in ANW.

I wish Marvel made Daken and X-23 Omnibuses because i couldn't find some of their books anywhere as HC. :/ (i'm a HC or nothing kind of guy )

Laura is contending with an alien virus that, for reasons unknown, is specifically drawn to her. She's about to set out onto the disease-ravaged Roosevelt Island to heal as many people as she can (the virus will migrate to her on contact, where her healing factor can destroy it).

I'm predicting Daken turns up to help because anyone with Logan's healing factor (notice the Old Man seems to be there on the right) would also be able to do the same (Deadpool is also appearing, which makes sense since he received his healing factor from Logan originally).

Sounds like a nice climax to a story. I'll have to go and pick this up, how has all new wolverine been? Does it live up to the hype??

It's been very good. Warren only appears sparingly.

Hopeless just destroyed any potential it might have had.

Anyway, glad to see Daken is back in one piece. I guess whatever Secret Wars did to fix Laura's healing factor affected him as well.

Considering that Logan is there as well, maybe SHIELD brought in those with healing factors similar to Lauras to help deal with the virus.
