I keep noticing anime show threads pop up in the Community forum. Shouldn't they be in the TV Forums though? I'm sure I saw a mod mention that in the Q & A forum.

Seems pretty cut and dry -- people lose sight that the mods are doing a thankless job and are volunteering their time. If their reward is an earlier time joined date than the normies then that's pretty damn fair to me.

We're going to go 'til 10,000. It could keep going indefinitely, restarting the thread, actually does reduce the indexing load. Also, it reduces the probability of excavated issues/topics.

agreed. I joined in 1998 and then the wipe of 2004(?) took that away and now the wipe of 2014 (I'm sensing a theme) has given me a reset. No biggie.

It shouldn't matter. Which is why it's weird to me that some "Time Lords" felt the need to reset their join dates, so they could join long before the rest of us. I think that's whack--and those guys should take a look at themselves and ask themselves why they felt the need to pull that trick. But, yeah, it doesn't matter.
