The Leader coming back from the dead in Pak's run with little explanation (Disregarding his return in Bruce Jones) actually fits the gamma immortality thing pretty well. (Also his other deaths-didn't he also get shot in Thunderbolts?).

If you’re referring to the Red Hulk incarnation of the thunderbolts team, then, no, the leader didn’t die during that run. But, the leader did kill his brother, the villain Madman while being a member of Ross’ team.

I love the design to be honest, it fits this run, Leader has an unnerving, bizzare and creepy look to him. I dunno if that's how he just looks like now or if something happened to him.
