Rumbler's League 2014 - Fall: Discussion Thread

We have the month of September to finish Prep Work, complete the updates to the lists and get ready for the next Tournament. The week of September 29th will be for the Draft and Team Creation. The Tournament will begin October 6th, though, as with everything, these dates are flexible.

There is still room for more players, and plenty of time to sign up.

In case anyone is wondering, my status as a player is still up-in-the-air. I may just GM the tournament, or I may team up with Dalak, or I may throw in a team and play solo if needed. I'll make that decision before the registration time ends.

Good. Been a little sluggish, but will get the updates done before the draft.

Does anyone have a preference as to weather I should randomly chose the arenas? Or would you like to be able to chose them yourselves?

One League we did have a "Home" field and each week you would switch from a home match on your turf to an away match in another persons home field. Pro's are you can make your team around your home field to give them an advantage and you may know things about the area that others dont. Con's are less areans are used so less variety of places to fight are used and some areanas have huge drawbacks qnd certain conditions that wouod hamper or negate characters making what would seem like a good match up a one sided fight that wont ne as good as it could have been. I'm good with either way for this tourney.

With so many people (9 or so) in the League the Home Turf rule will add some variety.

I've found that the number of arenas will be one less than the total number of teams. Still, we can work it. I'll consider the Home Turf idea.
