Most of us, if possible pick up DM Variant covers of Omnibuses. The Peter David Hulk Omnibus is one where I actually prefer the Regular Cover. So which one is everyone picking up?

From my understanding, this is the regular cover:

and this is the DM Variant cover:

This is the rare case where the Regular & DM covers are BOTH actual covers representing the material within. Normally the Regular cover has been a modern artist representation. I'm actually thinking this is the first time this has ever happened. Can anyone else recall if the Reg&DM cover were done this way?

I'll probably get the DM but would be fine with the Regular in this case for the Peter David Hulk vol.1

In this case, if I were to pick it up, I would go for the regular cover. The DM looks to me like somebody attempted to draw a bulky Frankenstein...

Is the expectation it'll take four omnibus volumes to get all of Peter David's run? After v1, there looks to be about 100 issues, 4 annuals, various minis and one-shots, plus 12 issues of Incredible Hulk v2 (some of that could appear in a Companion omni)

    Hi guys,

getting Heroes Reborn omni which I understand has no issue #13 due to the copyright will it still consider complete? or it just nothing important to look for on #13.
contemplating to buy that sucker, thinking if it just an unfinished collected edition.

    cheers

Three Omnibuses come to mind: Spider-Man by Roger Stern, Spider-Man's Tangled Web and Daredevil: Shadowland.

    What's in #13 that can't be reprinted?

I believe the Wildstorm crossovers. I haven't read any of this material myself. I'm also on the fence re: purchasing this Omni.

To: Everyone who would like to weigh in

Is the Bendis DD the absolutely essential DD, or is Miller? As someone who hasn;t read a lot of Daredevil I'd like to know what the most important / best DD material is.
