I love the premise. I just wish that a slightly different team had been selected. Gorgon, Emplate, Random, Typhoid Mary, Chimera, Skein, Vertigo, Tempo..... the list goes on. I don't recall anybody asking for Nanny, Orphan Maker or Wild Child. But I hope I can be convinced.

One would think that Emma and all of the other telepaths would be capable of psychic reconditioning and keeping Alex's AXIS psyche locked down. I'm guessing Ms Pryor is gonna love this darkest of Summers

There are many villains who are stable even if they are monsters. Like, Gorgon is very stable. You say "don't kill" and he obeys with brutal accuracy. He is not a problem for Krakoa.

Pragmatic is probably a better word for then.

apoc, acolytes, exodus, it be interesting if they started showing up escorting better mutants like jean/storm/ xavier as a visual threat of sorts

I never asked for Nanny and Orphan Maker; yet, I did not know what I needed.

The more late 20th century d-listers the better. seeing the MLF in new mutants gave me an unexpected rush I wasn't expecting and now I desperately want more. I'd be especially down with seeing vertigo back

If we only got what people asked for or what sold it’d be Wolverines all the way down.

I don't know. You can be pragmatic and unstable, like Norman Osborn in Dark Reign.

Anyway, there are villains that can function in a society and follow its rules.

It’d be easy enough to retcon Vertigo into having an X-Gene. Just say Legion did it. She must have been a mutant in Age of X after all...

Absolutely agree. Instead of Emma always walking with Xavier/Magneto ,you can send Exodus flanked by Mercury and Nightcrawler. Show a UN meeting with them in attendance and the point hits home these are actual mutants ,no games like mutants only feel comfortable showing a 'human' face to the rest.

This is the improved Ron Garney artwork according to Marvel back then, don't ask and its Austen too so please excuse it but this is what popped in my head from this preview.

I sometimes forget Alex was impulsive and it would come out through his powers under Claremont and it was a fear of Alex's that he would die or hurt/kill someone else. The Anti-Cyclops (He became more calm under David's X-Factor but was termed sometimes Cyclops-Light, before he was eventually considered a failed leader at the end of the 90s). Hence the name Havok

But perhaps an illustration. This, of course, wasn't quite what the cover the cover suggested.

    Bonus Havok/Goblin Queen

Alex: What are you looking at?
Maddie/Maddie: Looking at the Empire State Building. There is a giant Stay Puff Marshmallow Man attacking it .

Y'know, Bunn had teased struggling Havok back in X-Men Blue. Rosenberg followed up with goofball Alex that was trying to redeem himself. And that was good, ngl, I had fun with Astonishing. And then he went back to annoying Havok, but without any struggle other than timing his bitching against his brother. What I mean to say is that I'm glad we're back to X-Men Blue Havok. Tons of potential there. The art looks amazing, too.

I don't know everything there is to know about Havok and I haven't been collecting comics as much the last 14 years but he seems to switch from Goofy to troubled a lot. Of course there is going to be some reason for him and Scott to fight. Powers, women, leadership, life choices, envy etc.
