I know Jean gifted Cassandra with empathy but I didn’t see it coming that she’d willingly go with O*N*E when they confronted her. I wonder how this new version of her will interact with the nation of Krakoa, it’s almost like Taylor took out the possibility of Cassandra ever pulling another Genosha.

Chilling in the Astral Plane. Since his body technically didn't exist anymore after the first arc of Astonishing (remember: Charles/Shadow King used Proteus' power to rebuild his body into a suitable one for Xavier, which meant Charles never had access to Fanto's powers and body structure). If his last thoughts were uploaded to Cerebro, he won't want to come back. He willingly stayed in the Astral Plane. For the rez protocols he's dead, but I can't see him coming back now.

He's probably still dead and on the list for the Five to resurrect, but I doubt they're in a huge hurry. The last time one of the Five saw him she had to stop him from going full bad guy.

Would he be on the list though considering that he’s not actually a mutant? This actually raises an interesting question about that when it comes to those who have been among them like Fantomex, Ink or even those who lost their powers during Decimation and didn’t get them back but died.

Tag is back so maybe Sinister found a way to retrieve that DNA off-panel. Ink had to be redrawn by Cassara so he’s explicitly being kept off the island and I think Fantomex called himself a mutant during X-Force and got sucked up by Legion during the Mutant Rapture thing.

Wrong. We see his corpse in X-Force #2, it's classic bald Charles Xavier, not Fantomex. He must've replaced his body before HOXPOX.

HOX/POX mentions that Charles has recently least once transferred his consciousness to a new body, I could be wrong but I'm almost certain it was stated on one of those explanation blurb pages.




I'll ask why does everyone hate Fantomex, I remember it being at its height a few years ago and even then I didn't get it? Not my favorite but I thought he made an interesting addition to the X-family, plus Remender did a pretty good job with him.

Posters were very Warren x Betsy. Fantomex was seen as an encroacher. He also once claimed that Jean Grey's hip placement in her body language indicated that she wanted to have sex with him, and Jean fans weren't having it. Never forgave him for suggesting such dirrrty things about the Phoenix saint.
