There's a single, possibly throw away line in there about America being run by thugs or something like that. Might not have anything whatsoever to do with Secret Empire... but that's ONE way to interpret it.

For a talking issue, I'll agree with Cvill. One of his better ones.

Timeline... i'll allow that. Gives everything time to breath I suppose. Also could explain why Avengers T'challa has base in his voice agian. Even Secret Empire T'challa.

Best part, for me, is the connection to Bast stuff towards the end. IF that is done right, it SHOULD show that T'challa is the best Panther of all time, the favored son, favored from the womb, like Bast said in Hickman's F4 issues.

Also, T'challa wanting ot go back and help is 100% in character with his hero side

She says America is ruled by villians and thieves. Only other time that was besides SE was Dark Reign. She mentions Hydra(SE).

Only other option is it's a political dig at Trump and Co.

But, the words mean more than whatever storm is wearing that day. Much more likely the editor and writer would get the words right timeline wise vs the artist, especially someone like Acuna who probably has a lot more free reign.

I don't believe this was the outfit she wore at the time, so if indeed this took place before Secret Empire then it's a minor continutiy error.
