Maybe you should start a new Complex thread over on the Marvel board (not here) to gather all the proof for your theory.

Wakanda was never great for mutants. Did you guys forget about Gentle?

Back in HoX, they listed the countries that didn't sign the treaty, and were therefore considered adversarial. Through that series, things we were supposed to pay special attention to were highlighted in red. On that page, the country highlighted was Wakanda.

In X-Force, we learned how Xavier plans to deal with those countries. Blast them with propaganda, then use agents like X-Force to undermine the government and affect regime change that will give Xavier what he wants.

Gentle's Wakandan problems stem from having a foreign father, not being a mutant.

It isn't a national politics against Mutants.

In World's Apart he is literally called an abomination. In his memories in Red he is beaten for thinking about protecting his mother. Yes the foreign part adds but its not the whole reason.

In fact he explicitly says that in his flashback, kinda hard to miss lol. But that seems to be retconned in X-Men: Red because his mother calls him not human in that retelling. She seemed embarrassed about his powers and physically abused him whenever he activated them. A lot about his origin was changed to fit a narrative.

Fit a narrative. That's one way of putting it. X-Men/mutants rule and Marvel/non-X-Men-mutants drool.

I think there's already one in the Marvel forum. It's called "World War X."

The Wakandan soldiers were clearly under the influence of the Shadow King when they were insulting Gentle and Storm. He brought out the nastiest emotions possible in them to create a feeling of betrayal and hatred. The book even makes a point of emphasizing that the reason Gentle feels isolated is his mixed heritage.
