Why would they have to? They're not cancelling the X-Line. It would make zero sense to do so. ANXM alone is one of their most profitable books. Why would they decide to just stop making money?

I'm not saying they are. But I mean, come on. This was the panel the X-line was relegated to. Yet no news or mention from a line that has 7 team books and numerous satellite character books?

X-Men news - Remender "loves them". Was it too much to hope for some sort of X-Announcement from this panel? Don't get me wrong, I love Remender and can't wait for Axis or Rage of Ultron, but just a bit of an X-Tease or something?

Actually I have always liked Starfox, and have been hoping to see him make a comeback. With all the increased attention on Marvel's cosmic stuff, going back to ANNIHILATION and all the way up to the upcoming GOTG movie, it seemed like it should only be a matter of time before Eros got some attention! Here's hoping he gets treated well.

Bad joke. The answer to the fans question was a bit ridiculous and vague as usual. Everything is "writer driven and not editorial mandate". Marvel discussed "killing the Avengers the year of the movie". Yet I don't believe there was ever rumors or speculations surrounding that. But I think there is a lot more sense of truth to these X-rumors than Marvel is letting on. I don't think Marvel would actually get rid of the X-Line, and if they did it wouldn't be long term.
