Why did I think you were saying trade paperback. My brain is weird. Anyway, yes I agree. I wonder how much Hickman deals with the worldbuilding outside his title because I would actually trust him with sticking to the generational thing in the Sextant but I think Brisson is gonna stick whatever X-students wherever and that’s a nightmare in the making.
I really hope he's going to use more New X-Men. Duggan seems like he has some taste, and we can tell by the lack of Glob as young mutant representation.
Honestly not thrilled. I get the feeling we're just going to have this book used as an excuse to not have the New X-men show up other places. "They're already appearing in Cable!"...
So if Armor's in Cable, does that mean she's gone from New Mutants?

Glad Armor and Pixie (in this Kill Bill outfit) are showing up somewhere. Just hope we have more than just them appearing throughout Dawn if X. X-23, Armor, Pixie, Anole, Rockslide barely leave the spotlight while Dust, Surge, Hellion, Mercury, Gentle, etc weave in and out of their supporting/cameo roles in stories.

Pixie drawn by Noto is always a plus. He always draws her in cute outfits
On one hand No Glob!
On the other hand Bable...just needs to go.
But then again Duggan wrote regular Cable really well in UA and it giving NXM some rep so yeah.
But then there's Armor....
But then again there's Noto's art....
Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.
Duggan used Julian once in Uncanny Avengers so at least we know he's aware of the poor bastard's existence
