When the movie comes out I'm sure we'll get a ton of Joker centric events and reprints... what can you see in future solicitations? The Joker 75th anniversary book comes to mind.
P.S.
Jerry and the Joker- Adventures and Comic Art (Dark Horse) is recommended

The origin of the joker is very depressing. Why he's such a demented guy.
Depends on which origin... A lot of adaptions play with the Killing Joke adaption...however for some reason...I think I honestly preferred the BTAS origin...which was basically the Batman 89 origin minus literally being the progenitor to Batman's existence... There he was a gangster hit man who went crazy after a chemical bath. When the animated series adapted the Creeper and gave him Joker's chemical bath, Jack Ryder was crazy, yes...but not evil like the Joker (he even paid for the damages to the store he busted into). Thus making it known that crazy doesn't equal evil like the Joker would try to have people believe...
That said...what good is this thread without some laffs
In case we haven't already had this, from 2013's "Villains Month":
A great cover, but . . . what the heck was going on with the story inside?!?
man that's a scary demented face. wouldn't want the children to get their hands on this issue.
I'm starting to warm up to the idea of the Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie. The year it comes out Joker becomes an 80 year old icon. JP is a great actor and in my head this will be the origin for Nicholson's and Ledger's characters
In case anyone missed it The Joker Bronze Age Omnibus is coming out next year and for the first ever JOKER #10 will be published.
