That's standard operating procedures for what the Democrats are doing right now. Be more specific about how you want them to change tactics.

It would be nice if Pelosi and the Democrats did a better job, and yes, Trump is hot Garbage, but he is being to the left of Establishment Democrats.

They're not miracle workers, and doing a "better job" is super vague that could mean absolutely anything. You don't seem to get that the GOP have inherent advantages which are difficult to overcome. Trump is not the left with the Democrats about anything. What's your opinion on Jimmy Dore?

Also, Republicans trying to add abortion amendments is a **** move, and other tags to hurt us in the end is not good for the country as a whole.

Fourth. Inhofe, Loefler, Burr and now Ron Johnson? Di-Fi apparently did it too over on the Democratic side. These needs a thorough investigation. Fat chance Barr's DOJ will do one, but hopefully the FBI will take the initiative.

They didn’t get outflanked. Republicans are dangling the carrot of what Democrats and “leftists” want (cash flow to ordinary people) to push a bill that will give $500 billion to business owners and airlines. That’s ridiculous and a total waste of resources. That $700 billion that is being pushed to everyday Americans needs to be the most substantial portion alongside support for them by stopping rent collection (which will also help business owners paying their lease).

You can argue it's just as important to fund business owners as it is ordinary people, since business owners supply jobs to ordinary people. A $1000 check is nice, but an actual job is better. And if business can't stay open or even have to scale back, ordinary people lose their jobs.

Which isn't to say they shouldn't be helping ordinary people as well... but it's not an either or sort of thing.

On a side note I'd like to point out that his use of"China Virus" occurred at pretty much the same time the Chinese govt. began claiming that the US military was responsible for the outbreak.

Which isn't to say they shouldn't be helping ordinary people as well... but it's not an either or sort of thing.

We should make sure that we offer enough support to local businesses so that they can cover the costs of renting their space or maintaining their equipment while the doors are shuttered, but multinational corporations going to DC with cap in hand pleading poverty should just **** right off. Of course all those Wall Street jackoffs are now suggesting that we just rush everyone back to work, virus or no virus, so that the economy can pick up again and reinflate their stock portfolios, but those guys should just thank their lucky stars for social distancing, or else they would be getting the taste slapped out of their mouths right about now.

Edit: Loefler being implicated is a big deal. Her husband is the Chairman of the NYSE apparently.

One Democrat, Diane Feinstein, is being implicated but this one looks a little different: Her husband dumped on stock which was doing poorly at the time, and it was of a biotech firm which could be expected to go up, not down, in a medical crisis. So it's either unrelated or the most idiotic, self owning case of insider trading ever.

Fully expecting our concerned progressives to call for the witch to be burned, of course.

The timing is suspect and it all needs looking at, but yeah, Di-Fi's gonna take a lot of heat in bad faith from the usual suspects on both ends of the spectrum.

This is hardly something you can pin entirely on Trump though. For as long as anyone can remember, people have claimed that they were just opposed to the Chinese government but didn't hate the Chinese people, and unless you're incredibly naive that has never not sounded like complete BS, especially if you realize the troubling racial history of this country. White Americans care about democracy and human rights in China about as much as do they stopping black on black crime in the inner cities or ending the abuse of women and gays in the Muslim world, which is to say that while those are all serious issues that all need to be dealt with by the people in those communities, it is unlikely that your average American internet commentator has a speck of genuine concern about them.
