I used to go to Atlantic City several times a year, but when the casino opened here in Philly, I no longer saw a reason to trek to the shore. If memory serves, I haven’t been to A.C. since around 2014. When I did go there, I tried to make it about more than the casinos, I loved to stroll the boardwalk, eat a little salt water taffy and watch people having fun on the beach. And when I did go, I never took more than a hundred bucks which covered both lunch (I never gambled on an empty stomach) and my time spent with the slots or whatever games I played. Good times? Perhaps, I’m not sure.

Did AC about 5-6 times I can't recall for certain. Spent a few overnights at Trump's old casino. It's the first one you see as you get off the highway. It truly was a dump with mirrors covering every bit of wall imaginable. The décor game me a 70's porn movie vibe.

The rooms did smell of sweat, sex & shame.

We could see the Taj Mahal from our window, and it was funny how you could see where the Trump name had been taken down above the Taj Mahal logo that's still there. Imagine putting your name up in big gold letters wherever the eye can see and then wondering why the place is going bankrupt.

The New York Times reported Tuesday that the Court of Criminal Appeals of Tennessee in Knoxville ruled in late April that David Lambert's three convictions for illegal photography should be thrown out due to his actions being protected by laws allowing photos and videos to be shot in public places. His conviction for attempted battery on one woman was upheld.

In his ruling, Judge James Curwood Witt Jr. said that the photos Lambert took of women in Walmart, Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree were protected by law and represented "unfortunately, a reality of daily life in our digital age."
"When nearly every person goes about her day with a hand-held device capable of taking hundreds of photographs and videos and every public place is equipped with a wide variety of surveillance equipment, it is simply not reasonable to expect that our fully clothed images will remain totally private," the judge wrote, according to the Times.

Well, it's begun. Republican rednecks with guns defying medical safety orders and threatening armed violence against police if they try to enforce quarantine in one of the most states most affected by the virus.

Swastikas, Confederate flags and Trump (not American) flags and, of course, Trump, not wanting to lose any of his voting base, called them "good people" putting Republicans in a bind regarding coming down hard on them.
