Oh good point. I just thought it would be an interesting display of them entirely disregarding the whole mutant gala thing in favor of trying to find their friend in need, until one of them remembers that the gala also means some heros might be easier to grab for help.
Especialy when the one they get hold of is a c-lister who could tell them a "from the bottom" perspective on how it is to suddently become a mutant.
Also Gimick, not Gadget, right. First i forgot her civilian name and then i also confuse her super hero name. Double mistake on my part.
Definetly the highlight of the issue. Though the whole thing was pretty good, despite being a low burn issue because of the whole gala eating up the month on the titles.
I dont understand wh Marauders was RED. The three issues that came out today were good. I expected more but we will probably get more as more issues come out.
Hellions was the BEST.
Marauders is part of the main story of the Gala, whereas the other titles this week were just issues of their book that happened to take place during the Gala - if that makes sense. When initially proposed, the Gala was just going to be a Marauders arc, but it grew into a mini crossover.
Not to be "Spoilery" but ...a Marauders mystery is solved in X-Force.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Maybe he mistakenly saves Hank. Or maybe someone else thinks they should have first cracked and Mags jumps the line.
Or maybe everyone stabs Beast, Orient Express style, and Magneto just claims he did it to protect someone.
"They weren't stabbing him, Tony. They were trying to prevent me from stabbing him. They failed."
"50 people, Magneto?"
"You know I believe in overkill."
Dark does not mean deep.
So Magneto is basically on trial for destroying the next best thing to Christmas?
